Harry's POV:

After school, I met Charlotte out in the school parking lot.

"Do you drive?" I asked her. She shook her head no.

"So, how do you get to school?" I asked. Once again she pulled the tiny white board out of her shoulder bag and began writing.

"I walk." She wrote, sighing.

"So let me get this straight," I began as we continued walking towards my car. "You walk everywhere you go?" She nodded.

"Well, not today." I told her as we approached my car. I pressed the tiny button on my keys, unlocking the car.

When we got in the car, Charlotte cleared off her board and wrote a single word.

"Nice wheels." She wrote, smiling.

"Thanks." I smiled.

The drive to my house was pretty short, considering I only live about six blocks from the school. When we arrived in the driveway, we got out of the car and just as I was about to open the front door, it swung open to reveal Gemma.

"Hey, who's this?" My nosy sister asked, smiling.

"Oh, this is Charlotte. Charlotte, this is my sister Gemma." I introduced. Gemma had a huge smile on her face whereas Charlotte nervously tucked a piece of her cerulean hair behind her ear, looking down. I forgot how shy she was.

"She's shy." I mouthed to my sister. She nodded and we made our way past her and up to my room.

"Sorry about my sister," I apologized once my bedroom door was closed. "She tends to be pretty nosy."

"I like her." Charlotte's board now read. I looked up to see her grinning and laughed. She pulled out her board and wrote,

"How about that movie?" I nodded, laughing.

"Sure. Which one?" I asked her. She glanced at my bookshelf, which contained over three hundred different DVD's.

She got up and walked over to the shelf, picking up three different movies and laying them next to each other on my bed.

"Which one?" She wrote.

We ended up watching the Great Gatsby, Fast and Furious 5, and Charlotte's pick: The Vow. By the time they were all over, it was already seven o'clock and Charlotte was curled up on the left side of the bed, fast asleep.

"Charlotte." I nudged her, she didn't move. I nudged her again and her eyes slowly fluttered open.

"It's already seven, you want a ride home?" I asked her and she nodded.

It must have dropped about twenty degrees, because it was colder than it was when it was sixty degrees earlier. I was fine, but I felt bad for Charlotte who was only wearing a short sleeved t-shirt with the name of a band I'd never heard of. I wonder who the band is?

"Cold?" I asked her. She nodded as she shivered.

"Hold on a sec." I told her. I ran back inside and up to my room to grab my favorite soccer hoody. It was grey and had our school name on the front, alone with our mascot and my last name and soccer number printed on the back.

"Here you go." I handed the sweatshirt to her and she slipped it over her head. It was a little big for her small stature, but warm just the same. She nodded at me in thanks.

"No problem." I grinned.

She directed me all the way to her house, which turned out to be about four blocks away from mine. When we pulled up, I parked the car, sat back in the seat and sighed out of exhaustion.

"Oh, I forgot," I pulled a tiny piece of paper out of my jacket pocket and handed it to her. "Here's my number, in case you need anything." I smiled as she took the paper and carefully placed it in her jeans pocket.

She pulled out her board. "Thanks, for the number and the ride :)" It said.

"It's not a problem. Really." I told her, laughing lightly. She blushed and as she hopped out of the car, I hope she didn't notice me staring as she walked in the front door of her apartment.

Charlotte's POV:

Of coursed I noticed Harry staring at me. I could feel his eyes boring into the back of my head as I turned they key in the lock.

As I walked in, I looked at the empty house around me. All of my belongings, still boxed up next to the bed pallet I had made on the living room floor of my tiny appartment. I sighed as I changed into my pajamas, sending a quick text to Harry.

C: You forgot your hoody.

He replied less than a minute later.

H: It's okay, you keep it for a while. Night xx.

I smiled to myself, thinking that if I had to talk to one single person for the rest of my life,

It'd be him.
