4 DAYS LATER:

Harry's POV:

I sat in bed, watching Charlotte as she flipped through the pages in her book. She was so deeply pulled into it and I saw the way her brow furrowed as she continued.

Everyday I watched her do things and everyday I become more intrigued with her.

I remember more and more tiny details about her everyday, but I don't tell her that. I don't want to depress her even more if I don't remember enough things.

I looked up as she sighed, closing her book and I looked away quickly as if I weren't watching. She sat it down in the chair, grabbed her crutches and made her way to the door.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"Just..on a walk. I need some air." She said and I slightly nodded as she left. I sat there for a good hour just..thinking about her. All of a sudden something struck me, something beautiful. Something that almost felt like lo-

My thoughts were interrupted by the opening of the door.

"Hey, Harry." Angeline said as she closed the door, her hands carrying a roll of paper towels and some Pine-Sol.

"Hey." I replied. I'd only met this woman a few days ago and I'd already grown close to her. "Can I ask you something?"

"Uh, sure." She seemed caught off guard by my question, but sat down her cleaning supplies as she stood at the end of the bed, her hands resting on either corners. "What's up?"

"Is it possible to love someone you know nothing about?" I asked her. She didn't seem the least bit surprised by my question but I could tell by the look on her face that she knew exactly who I was talking about.

"You know everything about her, you just can't remember." She told me and it did make sense. "Where is she anyway?" She asked.

"She went on a walk..about an hour ago." I told her quietly.

"Hm." She said. There was a moments pause. "I think I know where she went." She spoke again.

I looked up at her and she returned it with hopeful eyes. I nodded as she helped me into my wheelchair. On our way out the door, I grabbed my soccer hoody that I gave to Charlotte.

When we got to the end of the hall, we reached a small elevator. It opened nearly seconds after Angeline pushed the button.

The ride down from the third floor to the lobby was quiet. I sat picking at my fingernails as Angeline tapped her foot.

When the doors finally slid open I sighed a sigh of relief. Angeline walked to the far left corner of the lobby and in that corner was a glass door. She motioned for me to look through it and I saw something I didn't know existed.

In front of me was a tiny, secluded garden in a round, hollow section of the hospital. There was stone patio with flowers everywhere, two benches on either side.

On one of those benches sat my beautiful Charlotte.

She sat with her knees to her chest as she scrolled through her phone. I motioned for Angeline to lean down to my level.

"How'd you know she was here?" I asked her.

"I found her in here the other night, it was pretty late. I just figured she'd be here." She replied.

"Why was she here the other night?" I asked.

"Same reason she's here today, I guess." She shrugged. I looked ahead as she began to reach for the door handle but I held my hand up to stop her. I looked up at her and she nodded, knowing that I wanted to go alone. She opened the the door for me and left.

When the door slammed closed, Charlotte's eyes darted to me.
