Charlotte's POV:

I was barely awake and my eyes felt heavy. My body felt like a lead block and I could hardly breathe.

I was unsure of where I was but I began to feel extreme pain roll throughout me. I tried moving, but it was almost impossible. My arms and legs felt like they were tied to weights and my head was spinning.

"Harry?" Was all I could manage to whisper, my voice faint and very raspy. I just wanted to know where he was.

When I didn't hear a reply, I got scared.

"We've got one!" I heard a man's voice call as an oxygen mask was placed over my face.

"Where's..I, Harry-" I tried whispering, wondering if he heard me from underneath the loud mask.

"He's in the other ambulance. It'll be alright." The man assured and I felt multiple people rapidly hooking me up to wires and machines.

My eyes fell shut once again and I didn't have the strength to open them.

I woke what seemed to be decades later, my body feeling slightly better than before but felt as if it were throbbing. Where was I?

Oh that's right, the accident.

I took in my surroundings, which consisted of a small white room full of sanitary aromas and beeping noises. I looked down at my left leg, noticing that it felt very cramped. It was encased in a baby blue cast and was elevated above the small bed.

Noticing the nurse in the hallway, I tried opening my mouth to speak, but nothing came out. It took all my strength to press the 'help' button that was only centimeters away from my fingertip but felt like miles.

Moments later, a different, much younger looking nurse arrived in my room.

"You're awake." She grinned sympathetically. The tag on her lanyard read 'Angeline' and she seemed nice. "Drink some water, it'll help you try and talk." She coaxed. I let her help me sip the water periodically, using up all my energy to make small coughs here and there until I could eventually force a small voice.

"Do you know where Harry is?" I asked her concerned.

"Who?" She asked.

"The uh, guy I was with when.." I trailed, not wanting to bring back memories of the accident.

The helpful grin faded from her face awkwardly, and I knew she wanted to avoid my question for my own sake.

"Oh, oh yeah. Is that his name?" She asked and I nodded, a few tears threatening to spill out of my eyes.

"He's in the um..Intensive Care Unit," She began quietly. My heart dropped and the tears that were resting on the brim of my waterline slowly fells "I'm unsure of his condition at the moment, but as soon as I know you'll know." I quickly nodded, slight pain in my neck.

"Here," She walked over to a small recliner in the corner of the room and grabbed a small object that I recognized as my phone, handing it to me.

"They recovered it early this morning, it's only got a few cracks in it." I nodded, switching it on. "Maybe it'll distract you, just don't move around too much." She smiled sweetly before leaving the room.

My phone buzzed twice before powering on. Tons of text messages came pouring into my inbox and I waited until they were all finished loading before opening them.

All of the text messages were from Kristen and Gemma, all of them from last night, asking how everything was going, before the..yeah.

Just before I locked my phone, I heard a light knock on the door before it opened.

I saw Gemma standing there, her face and eyes red and wet from crying. She gushed, rushing over to me and hugging me.

"Gemma, I'm fine. It's okay." I whispered, not telling her that she was hurting me slightly. She pulled away, wiping her tears with the sleeve of her sweater.

"I know, I just.." She paused, crying. "It's Harry." She barely made out and my heart dropped down to my stomach.
