Charlotte's POV:
I sat in the metal chair at the police station, my hand cuffed to the arm. Not to mention this dick-head cop was getting on my last nerve.
"I shouldn't even be here." I told him.
"And why shouldn't you be?" He asked cockily.
"Because I wasn't even smoking. Yeah, sure, there were people there smoking. But I wasn't one of them." I explained.
He had nothing to say as he checked my eyes with a flashlight. I had already taken a drug test just fifteen minutes ago.
"You're eyes look fine, but we'll see what your drug test looks like." He scanned my face with a cold stare as he walked off.
I sat there for a good hour before I heard the large metal door open.
"Fucking let go of me! I didn't do shit!" I knew it was Harry as soon as I heard him, two officers holding each of his arms with him thrashing in their hold.
"Harry!" I called. He instantly calmed and was placed next to me. They cuffed his hand on the arm of his chair.
"Are you okay? They didn't hurt you did they?" He asked protectively, turning my chin to examine my face.
"Harry, I'm fine. You need to calm down okay?" I took my free hand and put it over his, leaning my head on his shoulder for a few minutes until that asshole cop returned.
"Your test results came back, both of you." I say up. Harry must have taken his before.
"And?" Harry asked rudely. I didn't blame him though.
"You both came back clean, you're free to go as soon as we get your paperwork filled out." He stated.
"Ha!" Harry laughed. He knew he was right and had to show it off.
"There is a catch though." The officer remarked. "You both must do a month of community service."
"What?! That's complete bullshit!" Harry enraged.
"Running from the authorities is still a felony, Mr. Styles. I'll just call your guardian and you can leave when they arrive." The officer stated, walking off.
Harry say there, his jaw tightened and his fists clenched.
"Harry, please just calm down, okay?" I put my hand on his face and he turned to me.
"You're not mad? You're not mad that we have to do fucking community service for a month?" He asked.
"Not really, I mean, I get to do it with you so that's a plus." I smiled and he returned it, kissing my cheek.
Eventually, all our paperwork was filed and signed and were soon un-cuffed from our cold metal seats.
"Wait a second, how are they letting us leave? We aren't eighteen. They had to have called your parents." I asked, putting my head in my hands. I didn't want Harry getting into trouble with his family over this.
"Not exactly." I heard from across the room. Toward us walked the same girl that I saw when I went to Harry's house for the first time.
"Thanks, Gemma. Look, I'm-" he started.
"Save it, Harry. You're lucky that mom or Robin didn't answer. You owe me one, big time." She explained and he lowered his head, nodding.
We walked out to Gemma's car in the cold of the night in silence. Harry, with his hand in mine mouthed 'I'm sorry.'
'It's not your fault.' I mouth, smiling. He smiled back and stopped, pulling me in and kissing my cheek.
"Oh please." Gemma rolled her eyes, only making me blush and Harry laugh.
