As she tries to escape the dream that is her reality, she becomes more attentive to every detail of a forgotten world, she was once a part of.Dragons, pixies, werewolves and centuars, just to name a few of what roam an invisible community on earth.
Ariana learns the difference between a pixie and a fairy, But yet how equality still connects them all.
And how creatures such as bogles, aren't ones you want to acquaint with. She discovers Which ones rule over others, and which ones try.
Forgotten, extinct, abandoned or locked-up, bad isn't tolerated, but a second chance is always within the law of Rosewood. So who is she?
She begins the search for her true soul. A term in Rosewood with a literal meaning.
Some take years to find it, yet it is always there.
But unlocking a section of yourself, becomes more than just troublesome for the mind. But where does she begin?
As her father said "only time will tell"
But patience isn't within her current priorities. 12 years is long enough. Or 16, she now likes to say. As the first 4 years of her life were literally swept away.
And today, she's about to be exposed to the night it all happened. Why her name was the only thing left of her identity. Her father, Falcon, has unnervingly agreed to reminisce the past, by making it their present.
After spending her first night surrounded by wood-crafted walls, in the presence of every item that enables her to re-live and re-learn what she's missed in the last 16 years of her life. From the day she was born. She finally feels as if she's comfortably able to call a place 'home' .
Unwilling to sleep, she realises there's a piece of the puzzle yet to be identified.
All cells arise from other cells. But who created the first cell?
Rosewood was destroyed and another one created, but what events caused these unintentional problems to arise in the first place? It's the same concept. But a type of time travel allows them to know.
As today, Falcon agrees to take her back... to a traumatic past...through the flames...--
Ariana wakes up after a rough night sleep, and immediately stands up to take a look at herself in the miniature mirror on her desk.
She leans forwards and ruffles her curly, dark brown locks attempting to look slightly more presentable. Ariana has always had long hair, she used to hate the natural curls so much, that she would sit there as a toddler pulling them out, determined to make them go straight...
Like all the normal kids.
But her hair is lushous and thick, and a brown so dark it could be considered as black in some specific lightings. It drapes all the way down her back and too her hips, and sways about freely over her shoulders. This is rather contradictory to her bleach- pale skin, as if her body had never seen sunlight (which when you live in England, isn't that surprising).
When she sits down at her desk, she has to raise her neck slightly due to her being slightly smaller than the average. Only just making it to 5ft when she turned 14, Ariana has always struggled amongst crowds and busy situations, feeling like she is always hidden amongst everyone. Never truly feeling a part of everything.
Eventually, Ariana makes it out of her room, feeling more awake, and into the kitchen/ living room area.--
After an interesting breakfast, of what's known as 'organic' flower petals with tea, Intended to boost the immune system, Falcon takes Ariana out the back route of the house to avoid coming in to contact with anyone.
"Where are we going?"
"Just try keep your voice down, it will become clear soon." He says sweetly.
