"Ariana we need to get back up to the top of the hill at once! The battle is about to begin!"
Ariana ignores him, as she continues hollering at her hollagraphic father with so much internal pain.
He might not be real, but what she's feeling certainly is.

Failing to acknowledge her fathers second attempt at shouting towards her, he sprints up from behind her and forcefully grabs her arm.
He proceeds with charging up the hill at an impressive rate. Ariana is too distraught to question, she reluctantly follows Falcon whilst remaining sorrowful eye contact with a father she never really knew.

Eventually, they reach the top of the hill, but not far enough where the soldiers aren't within near distance.
"Just wait Falcon!" Ariana screeches. He quickly lets go of her arm, which has left a red hand-shaped mark wrapped around her bicep, and allows her to do what she needs to do.
She takes a few heart broken steps forward, so she's within close proximity of her father so she can hear what the soldiers are saying.

One man stands up from his previously camouflaged position. With a rifle laying comfortably within his arms, he begins hollering orders at the rest of the human soldiers.
"RIGHT! Everyone prepare for attack. We all know why we're doing this. RIGHT?"
"RIGHT!" Everyone shouts in sync, but with their heads still facing forwards.
"These creatures threaten our society. They threaten the way we've lived our free lives for thousands of years. Earth is for humans! And it is our duty to protect it! Everyone on the ground, needs to be dead by dawn! And the outside world will never have to know! They don't belong here, only humans do. Now don't hold back! Do what you have been trained for! Is that clear?"
"CLEAR!"
After that remaining statement, the final soldier lies back down, preparing for battle.

Ariana standing there with more of an understanding of why they did it, but not really understanding... why?
Why was her father there? A man she trusted, gave her life too. He was the reason she ended up in this mess in the first place.

"Ariana... I'm so sorry." She hears a voice approaching her from the distance. "He was just doing what he thought was right."
"But don't you get it!!" Ariana shouts and quickly pivots round to face falcon. "He was my dad. He was the one who brought me up through life, he was the one who made me the person I am today. And to find out, that in real life, he wanted to kill me! How - how can I live with this falcon?"
"Ari-"
"Don't - I just want to go home."
"But we can't-"
"Falcon please."
"We are here for a reason Ari... it is important you know what happened to you in the past, so you can figure out who your supposed to be today."
"I don't know who I am falcon! My whole life has been one big lie! Everyone I've ever loved, or trusted, has either died, abandonment me, or tried to KILL ME!"
Ariana stands still, crouched over, taking shallow breaths. Falcon stationed in a position of helplessness. As he realises what Ariana is saying is unfortunately true. "Nothing and no one can fix your past Ari." Falcon says with a sorrowful face hovering the ground. "And I'm so sorry for everything, there's nothing I can do. But, what I can do is fix your future. Your life doesn't have to end up what it seems to be destined as, we can turn it around - right now. Just turn around, I'll show you what I came here to show you. Then we can go. I promise."
"Why should I trust you falcon? I met you yesterday. You might be my dad, but you know nothing about me. That man right there-" Ariana speedily twists round and guides her finger towards her adoptive father, "that's the man who knows me. That's the one who loved me for so many years." She feels sudden empathy for her father, maybe an ounce of guilt over feeling such hatred over him. "He might have tried to kill our kind, but he was only doing what he needed to do to protect his country. And then... he saved a little girl, named Ariana Dawson. Frightened, abandoned-"
"Ariana!"
"Let me finish!"
"You weren't abandoned. I want you to turn around now so you can see the truth."

Reluctantly, Ariana eventually turns around and is greeted with a site of unexpectance. The battle had already broken out. The mayor had released bolts of fire leaving many human soldiers on top of the hills, dead. All surrounding forests currently being obliterated by his unescapable force.
She peered down below with a stretched jaw, and wide pupils, as she witnesses all Rosewood residents coming to life through their true souls.
"All of Rosewood laws were broken at this point. " Ariana hears falcons voice slowly travelling behind her, until his withered hand meets with her shoulder. "No human had ever been to Rosewood let alone seen us in our true forms. It's too complicated for the humans to understand, some killed themselves over just the sight of the unfathamoble creatures appearing before them. Misunderstood. It's what we are Ari. They fail to see the beauty in our magic. The beauty in our existence. I don't want you to be like that too Ari. I want you to find your true soul, so that you can see the beauty in this world, because trust me, there is some left. No matter how dark it all seems. " Falcon releases a heavy sigh. Many many years those words were trapped inside of him. Just one person, had to know the truth.
