The fireworks lasted for a solid half an hour, each one more fantastical than the last.
It turned out to be a cruise ship, they were celebrating the captains birthday. Ariana couldn't help but feel upset that she could no longer be apart of the human world. Never to experience a normal party again. Never watch another episode of friends, or watch those cat videos on YouTube.
But again, the moment she stared down at her tail for the 100th time that night. She truly understood how incredible this really all was. And how any human would dream of having the life that she has now.

Today is exactly one month since Ariana arrived in Rosewood. To celebrate, they will be having the monthly bonfire a few days earlier than usual.
Everyone who can, will be attending. She is very excited about tonight, as this is where it all truly began for her. Where she discovered her true soul, met Ashton for the first time, and also discovered she had an extra power- stopping time.
No one knows about Ariana's powers. There have been suspicions, but no one has actually ever witnessed her do any of these spectacular moves. Well, of course, there is one person who has seen her perform this unintentional act. The strange man who seemed to also be caught up within her power, the man who looked like he wanted to attack her, right there and then. The man who she hasn't seen since.
Another thing that remains lingering in her already stressed out mind, is the fact they never caught the person who attacked her at the royal dinner.
Nixon had told her that the attack had to be planned, there was no other explanation for it. She didn't want to believe him at first, but now that almost a month has passed and there hasn't been a single sighting of this person in such a small time, makes her think otherwise.
She sometimes wonders if the man she saw at the bonfire, was the one who attacked her that day. She may never find out. But giving up isn't  on her mind.
Today at the Bonfire everyone will be celebrating another peaceful month away from humans, as well as the one month anniversary of Ariana's arrival. But Ariana will be on a search for the man she believed tried to end her life, just as it was about to begin.

"Ariana you've got to get ready, Ashton and Bexley will be here any minute!"
"I'm nearly ready Falcon, just choosing an outfit." She scurries through her wardrobe, stressfully chucking items around her room. But eventually, she sees something that immediately catches her eye. It's a long, grey dress. But as she holds it up against the light, sparkles begin appearing all over it, enlightening her mood instantly. She tries it on, and it's a surprisingly perfect fit. It's reasonably tight, and reaches just above her knees. The only modification she needs to make, is the sleeves. The sun has been sizzling out there today, and even though it's late, it's heat can still be felt through the darkness of the night. She quickly tears of the sleeves, as if ripping through a piece of paper, leaving her with a turtle neck type dress, that helps escentuate all her most wonderful features.

A quick brush of the hair, and a tad of mascara, Ariana exits her room, and in to the living room. Bexley and Ashton are already standing by Falcons side, as he prepares them a cup of tea.
Bexley takes hers, and then turns to face Ariana. Almost throwing the whole cup in the air, she sprints towards Ariana, and wraps her arms round her for a love-intended hug. But again, her strength hasn't decreased at all since the last time she made contact with her. Ariana's face quickly turns a light purple colour, and its Ashton who has to come to her rescue.
"Mother you're hurting her again." He says with a sarcastic tone of voice, as if this is something he's had to say to everyone they meet. He pulls her away from Ariana, and then ends up standing in front of her, himself.
He shuffles his body forwards slightly, looking like he wants to say something. But nothing comes out of his mouth, and he retracts back, grabbing his cup off the table.

"So! We all ready then?" Says Bexley very cheerfully.
"Yep, just about." Says Ariana, nervously.
"Ariana you alright darling? You seem a little, shook?" Bexley asks.
"No no I'm fine. Just that excited you know." Of course that isn't at all the truth. Ariana can't decide whether she wants to see this peculiar man again, or whether she wants him gone from her mind completely? But all she does know, is that she wants answers.
