Monday Morning

"I swear to the lord up above!" My little brother screams, his hands up above his head.

"If you did, I'll kill you in your sleep little one." I glared at him. He visibly gulped and ran away screaming for ma.

"Ma! Jasmine's gonna murder me in my sleep!" He screamed throughout the house.

"Jasmine Clarissa Cook, get your butt down in this kitchen this instant!" Ma yelled from downstairs.

Groaning, I shuffled my way into the kitchen. "Yes?" I spoke innocently.  Kyle smirked as he ate his cereal. Kyle is my twin brother. But he's older by twenty minutes.

"What is this nonsense I hear about you going to kill David in his sleep?" She narrowed her eyes at me

"What is this nonsense I hear about you going to kill David in his sleep?" She narrowed her eyes at me.

"He put ketchup in my hair, Ma!" I huffed, getting ahold of the sticky, orange-ish colored hair.

"David Sebastian Cook, why in the world did you do this to your sister?" She glared at David, who was hiding behind her.

He sighed, knowing good and well he was caught and that he can't lie to ma, "I was just playing." He pouted.

"Say sorry and go in your room to get ready for school." David nodded sadly and walked away, not before turning to me and saying sorry.

"It's okay, lil' bro." I ruffled his hair. He smiled up at me then ran back upstairs. Little does he know I put some ketchup in his hair.

He he.

"Jas, go take a shower, you'll be late for school." Ma said as she finished making breakfast.  As I made my way upstairs, I heard Kyle say he's leaving to pick up his friend.

After taking a shower and getting dressed, I grabbed my car keys and drove to Lydia's house and picked her up and we made our way to school.

"He put ketchup in your hair? That dude is my brother, I swear!" Lydia laughed as we pulled up to the school.

I huffed, "It's not funny. But I got him back." I smirked.

Lydia gasped mockingly, "You? Jasmine- the nerd, the sweetest girl in school -did something bad?" She over exaggerated. I rolled my eyes, "It's not that serious."

She just laughed, "I'm such a bad influence. Good job, Lydia." She patted herself on the back.

I just sighed and stepped out of the car. Lydia followed me and we walked to our tree, where we met up with Audrey and Kennedy.

"Hey bitches." Lydia and I spoke in unison.

"Hi hoes." Ken and Audrey spoke, smiling as we sat down on the bench that was under the tree.
