I walked into my house with one foot first and closed my eyes as I pulled the other one threw. My mother was sitting at the table as I walked into the house. Her chest leaning over the table with her hand over her crying eyes. My stomach dropped. Feeling something almost as pity for her. Even if she was my mother, I didnt care about her, she could never look at me like I was was her true daughter. Sharing the blood of the cheating backstabbing man could form almost as a curse that couldn't be reversed. I sneaked past the room trying not to make a sound. But one of the wood planks creaked once I stepped on top of it. Hearing from the other room my mother's voice "your home?" She muttered blowing her noise on the towel that once pearst the lips of that man who left. I stopped at the first step of the stairs, looking down towards the ground. "Did your dad call today?" She asked. I looked to the side, not saying anything. The sound of sniffling was the only thing I could hear. Until she told me "Your father's in the hospital". Sniffling more. A chair pulled out making creaking noises as quickly as it was loud. My mother shouted "YOU UNGRATEFUL SLIME, YOU WOULDN'T BE HERE WITHOUT HIM, SHOW SOME RESPECT FOR YOU FATHER". I turned around to face her swollen eyes that looked as if she was crying for days. I blurted out "that's not my father, I don't have a father". I tilted my head down at the floor. Her eyes widened once I said that. She moved her hand up as a tear fell from off her face. Slapping me right across the face. I felt no pain on my face but in my mind I was broken. Once her hand was off of me, I looked towards the ground with both my eyes closed not saying anything again. She walked away with her hand raised to her mouth.
The next rising morning, appeared as the start of the weekend. It didn't feel like it though. I couldn't face my mother, so I ran out the door before she could even glimpse me. Running as fast as I could, I looked back to see the door I just came out of and all of a sudden. I ran right into someone, I didn't see their face. As I fell towards the dusty ground I felt a softer landing then what I would of thought. When I opened my beating eyes, I found my self glazing at the face of Adam. His eyes wide open as if he didn't fall at all. "Watch wear you going!" Sprang from he's tounge. My eyes widen as my beating heart stopped. My body laying against his. Our eyes so close together just like we were young again. I jumped off of him and ran inside my house. With my back against the door I just slammed behind me. Taking deep breaths in and out. Trying to think It was just a dream. I looked to the side. Glazing at my mom on the cold floor, face down. I ran over ro her lifing her up from off the ground placing her onto my lap. "MOM" I shouted repeatively. I got up from off the ground and ran towards the phone. Calling 9-1-1 as soon as I reached the phone. "I need a ambulance at 428 burstant crescent" I blurted out in a panacking voice. I could barley breath at that moment. I thought as if my life has been drained out of me. I watched my mom go away from me in the flashing abulance. I ran upstairs in my bed and pinched me as hard as I could yelling "WAKE UP". I wanted it to be a dream but it was almost like a dream that wouldn't stop. I cried myself to sleep as I thought about my mother.
