Oh no he didn't
The ungrateful....dog that stood before me glared at me, if looks could kill I would be a withering mess on the floor.
I mean jeez, he didn't thank me for saving his life, no, he shouted at me. In front of his whole pack.
Why was I mated to such an ungrateful prick, screw all that my man stuff.
Ladies you are welcome to him.
I was this close to punching him in the face but after coming to the conclusion that it would hurt me more than it would hurt him, I refrained.
I settled for storming off instead.
I think I got about a metre a way from him before he pulled me back and snarled in my face.
"I'm not finished." The roar made all the other pack mates wince and I saw Lovella give me a look of sympathy.
Oh yes you are sweetheart.
Screw it.
I took a step back and then lifted my leg slightly, Ajax was still glaring at me and remained blissfully unaware of how much pain I was about to bring to his world. I raised my leg and kicked as hard as I could.
Bingo.
A howl left his mouth and he fell to his knees. Most of the pack had left when Ajax had grabbed me before hand and I went in the direction they had gone in earlier.
I walked for a few minutes and let out a sigh of relief when the mansion came into view.
I began to sprint and ran all the way into the house and up to my bedroom. I recalled the fact that I now shared a bedroom with Ajax and grunted in dismay.
I walked around for a little while looking at the doors which all seemed to be decorated by the people who inhabited them.
I stopped at a plain door and prayed that it was the guest room. I walked inside and let out a sigh of relief when I saw a doubled bed with a white duvet and white walls. It was a plain room, it wasn't very welcoming. But I was desperate so I would take what I could get.
I jumped on the bed and promptly fell sound asleep. I guess saving your mates arse and then being told off for it was rather exhausting.
A knock on the door brought me out of my slumber and I yawned, I mumbled a quite 'come in' and prepared myself for company as I sat up straight in the bed.
Expecting Ajax, I was rather surprised when Lovella stood in the door way. Where was my sorry excuse for a mate, surely he would have attempted to find me, right?
Well kicking him in the balls probably made us even. I was beginning to feel slightly guilty. It can't have hurt that bad, could it?
She offered me a sympathetic smile and walked into the room. I moved up so that she could get into the bed beside me. Although we had been raised as cousins I had always known our connection stemmed deeper. I guess it was true that blood is thicker than water.
She lay her head on my shoulder and sighed.
"That was harsh." I wasn't sure if she was referring to me or Ajax so I threw my head up in a questioning motion and she moved so that she was now facing me.
"He should never have humiliated you like that, shouting at you in front of the whole pack was brutal. But then again you probably should not have kicked him in the balls. I mean what if it doesn't work anymore?"
I arched an eyebrow, what on earth was she on about?
"What do you mean if it doesn't work anymore?"
I questioned her and she leaned forward slightly, she then looked me in the eyes and said,
"You two may never be able to do the dirty."
At this my eyes widened and my face flushed.
Wait did this mean I was going to remain innocent forever, and if so, you know, then that meant no children. I had practically murdered our future children.
I was a murderer.
I jumped of the bed and made a run for it to Ajax's bedroom leaving Lovella in my wake.
I stopped at the black door and wondered whether I should knock. This was a matter of life and death, literally, there was no time for knocking.
I barged in and before I could notice anything else I wrapped my arms around my lovely mate.
I squeezed my eyes shut not wanting to see the damage that I had implicated. I repeated sorry over and over whilst planting little kisses on his chest.
I was the sorry excuse for a mate not him, I would say gentlemen you are welcome to me, but you really aren't.
When I felt his body shaking I paused.
I leaned back in his arms slightly so that I could see his face.
The son of a biscuit was laughing, laughing.
I had just murdered our future children and the little prick was laughing.
"What did Lovella say to you?" His words came out a little raspy from all the laughing he had done.
"That I broke your, you know." To illustrate my words I nodded my head downwards to his you know and gave him a wide eyed look to suggest the seriousness of the breakage.
He burst into another round of laughter and then stopped and leaned into me. His mouth at my ear, he let out a whisper in a husky voice.
"Believe me baby, it isn't broken."
