Chapter 11

*John POV*
"JOHN WAKE UP!" I shot straight up in my bed and looked at who was calling my name. I couldn't see anything because of how bright the room was from the sun shining in. My eyes finally adjusted to the bright room, and I saw Alex standing over my bed, looking like he just won the lottery. "What?" He tugged my out of bed and I landed on the floor. "Come on! ITS HALLOWEEN!" I rubbed my eyes and slowly got up from the ground. "What time is it?" Alex looked at his phone. "10:03. Now come on! Get dressed!" I groaned and walked into the kitchen to get a glass of water. "We still have a few hours until we have to get ready. Why are we getting dressed this early?" Alex walked out of the bedroom and into the bathroom. He yelled back, "Because its Halloween, hoe" I laughed at the name he called me and poured milk into a glass. "What did you just call me?" He stuck his head out of the bathroom with a toothbrush still in his mouth. "A hoe" He popped his head back inside and then a gurgling sound came from him. I took a sip of my milk and sat down on the couch. I was scrolling through my phone and Alex suddenly pulled me up off the couch and started to pull me to the door. "Where are we going?" He closed the door after I walked through the threshold. "Lunch."
I got a text from Herc.
HorseFucker: Where and when are you and Alex going for trick-or-treating? Laf and I want to tag along."
JohnnyBoy: Meet us at the Schuylers at around 5. They wanted us to go there before we left. They have a surprise for me ?
HorseFucker: Cool. Meet you there.
"Is it cool if Laf and Herc come with us to go trick-or-treating?"
"Of course. It'll be more fun with them"
We walked into the cafe and ordered lunch.

"Ok John. I'm ready." Alex walked out of the bathroom in his costume. He looks so happy. It so cute. "You look like a real pirate. Now we just need to put on a little bit of makeup so you'll look just like them."
"John, we don't have any makeup to put on me."
"Right. We can see if Peggy has anything."
"I'm sure they do."
"We should start to head over to their place. I can't imagine what the surprise for me is."

We knocked on the door to the Schuyler's and Peggy opened it.
"Woah! You're hair! It looks amazing. When did you get this done?"
A smile spread across her face and she ran her hand through her hair. "I got it done a few days ago with Maria." Alex booped her nose and said, "Well it looks amazing and you look awesome."
We all walked inside and went up to Angie's room. Eliza and Angie were sitting down on the bed, and there was a chair in the middle of the room. "Um? What do you guys have planned?" They both stood up and Eliza said, "We picked out a costume for you!" I stared at them in disbelief. "No. I don't want to dress up as anything." Peggy came from behind me and took my hands. "Come on! We all are dressing up, you have to do it too! It'll be fun and you'll love what we picked out." Eliza and Peggy took my hands and sat me down on the chair. "Alex, this might take a while so if you want, you can go downstairs and watch tv or something." I remembered that he needed some makeup, so I asked Angie if she could quickly do his makeup. "Oh um, do you think you can put some makeup on him, like to make it look like he's dirty? We didn't have any makeup at home." Angie jumped up. "Of course! Come on, I have the perfect thing." She took his hand and pulled him into her bathroom.
"Ok, so we have clothing and then makeup for you." Eliza turned to Peggy. "We should put the clothes on first so it doesn't smudge his makeup." Peggy nodded her head. "We're gonna have to blindfold you so you don't see it until its done. Do you think you'll need help putting the clothes on or are you okay?" Eliza pulled out a blindfold from one of her drawers. "Um. It depends. Do you think I could figure it out or is it complicated?"
They looked at each other. "I should just stay and help him if he needs it. Is that okay with you, John?" Eliza handed the blindfold to Peggy and she walked out of the room. Once she left, Peggy put the blindfold on me, and stood me up. "You're okay with me in here, right? Do you want me to turn around and just hand the clothing to you?" I felt really nervous. I don't like showing my body, but it was only Peggy in here so I guess it's okay. "No, its fine. You don't have to turn around. Let's start with the shirt or whatever you have." I slipped my shirt off and they help open the shirt for me to put my arms through. There. You're already half way done. its just pants next and you're done. I pulled off my pants and they handed me the pants. I sat down on the chair and pulled the pants up. Done. You're good now. Whatever the hell Im wearing felt weird. It almost feels like a life vest. Peggy called to Eliza who was waiting outside the door. They sat me down and started the makeup on my face. Alex and Angelica came out of the bathroom. I wish I could see what he looked like. "Aw. You look great Alex" I heard Peggy say. "What are you guys going as anyways?" I heard the springs of the bed strain, so I'm guessing Alex was sitting on the bed. Angie replied to him. "You'll see at the party. Now, I should probably start to set up the food now. I'll be back in a little while to come check on you guys."
