Chapter Thirteen: Suprises

Emma's POV

I woke up and immediately hopped out of bed. I breathed in the fresh summer air.

"Mm."

I opened the blinds to let the sun shine in. The room got bright and started to warm up.

I went to the bathroom and got ready. I brushed my hair and teeth. I then got dressed in a red crop top, jean shorts and red and white sandals. I skipped outside and sat down by the lake. Suddenly, I felt a shadow hover over me.

I turned around to see my brother.

"LUKE!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. He laughed and pulled me into a hug. Just then, Maya, Zuri and Ravi ran over.

"Luke!" Ravi said. Luke pulled my other siblings in for a hug.

I looked at Maya and she smiled. She nodded and gave him a hug.

"I missed you." I heard her mumble. She was smiling like crazy.

I smiled and walked away.

I sat down on a bench and Xander sat next to me.

"Hey." I said quietly.

"Hey." He smiled.

I moved closer to him and laid on his shoulder. He wrapped his arm around me. I smiled and looked up at him.

"So, Luke's here?" He asked. I nodded.

"Yeah."

He smiled at me and squeezed me.

"Ow." I said, playfully hitting him.

"Ow." He said mocking me.

"That's it." I said, smiling.

I grabbed his hand and pushed him in the water.

"Hey!!" He yelled. I started laughing until he pulled me in the water.

"My hair!" I yelled. I splashed him and he splashed me.

"I hate you!!" I screamed.

He started laughing and pulled me close.

"No you don't." And he carefully connected his lips with mine.

I smiled and pulled away. I grabbed his hand and pulled him out the water.

"Tha-."

Just then, I pushed him back in the water. He groaned.

"You win."

I started laughing and helped him out for real this time. We sat on the dock and looked at the stars.

"I'm glad we got back together." Xander whispered.

"Me too." I whispered back.

We connected hands and I laid my head on his shoulder.

"I love you." He said.

"I love you too."

This was cute. Also, let's appreciate my queen up there.
