I laid in bed, staring at the ceiling. Just then, Maya walked in.
"We need to talk."
The first words that come out of her mouth when she first walks in. This can't be good.
"What's up?" I asked, worried.
She sat on my bunk and sighed.
"I like Lucas."
I didn't move. I couldn't move. I just stayed there, still.
"Riley?" She asked, crying.
"HOW COULD YOU? MY EX? MY FUCKING EX? YOU HOE YOU HAVE LUKE AND NOW YOU WANT LUCAS WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU? ACTUALLY, DONT ANSWER THAT, ASK ONE OF YOUR LITTLE BOY TOYS!!" I breathed out all in one breath. The minute it came out of my mouth I immediately regretted it.
Tears formed in her eyes and she started to cry.
"WOW RILEY... FOR ONE, LUCAS WAS MINE FIRST STUPID BITCH. SECONDLY, I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS!!" She yelled back.
"FRIENDS DONT DATE EXES!"
"THEN MAYBE WE ARENT FRIENDS!" She breathed out.
I felt tears burn in my eyes. A tear fell down my cheek.
"Maybe we aren't..."
And I walked out...
