Chapter Forty-Five: Suprise Visits

Maya's POV

Emma has been upset for the past 2 weeks.

Ever since Xander left, she hasn't been the same.

She's been eating less, and I'm starting to worry.

I knocked on her door, and when I didn't hear an answer, I walked in.

What I saw horrified me.

Clothes everywhere, sheets demolished and garbage scattered all around the floor.

"Emma." I stood there in shock.

"Leav- oh Maya." She said.

I grabbed clothes out of her drawer and handed them to her.

"I don't care if you don't want to, shower." She sighed and walked into the bathroom. I scoffed and started to pick up.

After I was done picking up, I did her bed and sprayed the room with one of her many perfumes.

She walked out the bathroom looking like a whole new person. She was wearing a gray crop top with white linen around the edges. In the corner, there was a little pocket. She also wore jean shorts that were slightly faded and she wore gray and white sneakers. She had her hair in a ponytail.

"I feel amazing. Thanks Maya." She smiled. I felt so happy seeing her smile.

"Anything for you." I told her. She hugged me and I hugged her back.

We pulled away when we heard a knock on her door. She looked at me with a confused expression. She opened the door and when she saw who was there, her eyes watered up.

"X-Xander." She smiled through her tears. "Is that actually you?" He nodded and she hugged him. He rubbed her back.

After they pulled away, she looked at me with her head on Xander's shoulder.

"Thank you." She said happily.

I nodded. "Your welcome."

Xander looked at her and smiled. "I'm staying for good."

Emma just looked at him and hugged him.

She deserves to be happy.
