Chapter Forty-Three: The Question

Rileys POV

I was writing in my diary when Maya walked in. I closed it and put it on my nightstand.

"What's up?" I asked her.

"Oh, Emma wants to know if you wanna come to the lake with us."

I shook my head. "No thanks."

She shrugged and walked out.

I smiled and grabbed my clothes. I took my towel and took a quick shower. After I was done, I put my hair in a messy bun.

I grabbed some clothes and diapers for the girls. I walked into their room and changed each of them into blue and yellow dresses. I put on some socks that looked like boots.

"Mommy loves you." I told them. I kissed them on their cheek and put them back into the crib.

I leaned over the crib until I felt someone wrap their arms around me. I turned and saw Lucas.

"Hey babe." I kissed him on the lips.

"Hey baby girl." He told me.

He grabbed Annie.

"Hi princess." He said. He kissed her on the cheek and smiled at me.

"She's gorgeous like you." I blushed.

"We're dating an you still make me blush." I laughed.

He smirked. "That's my job." He said. He then sighed. I frowned and laid on his shoulder.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked.

He put Annie back into her crib and sat on the rocking chair. I sat next to him and crossed my legs.

"Camps ending in 2 months." He said. I nodded.

"Yeah?" I said.

"What happens when it ends? Will we, I don't know, co parent?" He asked.

I thought for a second until and idea popped into my brain.

"What if we move in together?" I said.

His face lit up and nodded.

"I would like that."

I smiled and got up. I grabbed two bottles and put formula in them.

"Now, help me feed them."

He grabbed the bottle from my hand and fed Annie.

I smiled.

I love them so much.
