I WIKE FOOD BOI 🙃

Xander's POV

"I like this." Emma said, with her head in my chest.

I played with her hair. "Me too."

She looked up at me and smiled.

"You are so cute." She told me.

I smirked. "Your cuter."

She blushed and laid back into my chest. She was playing with her fingers until my phone started ringing.

I got up and grabbed my phone.

"I'll be back."

Emma's POV

After Xander got up and went outside, I kind of got curious. Whenever he talks on the phone, he never goes away.

I put on my slippers and opened up the room door a crack.

"Yeah, I'll tell her."

Tell her? What?

I heard him hang up the phone so I jumped on the bed.

"Hey, babe, we need to talk."

Oh no.

"Yeah what's up?" I said casually.

He sighed and took a deep breath before speaking. "I-well- have to leave camp."

I took a breath of relief.
"That's not so bad. How long? A few days? A week?"

He looked down and nodded. "No, for good." He continued. "My football practices got moved up to next week."

I grabbed his hand and rubbed it. "But what about us?" I asked.

"Emma, you know I wanna be with you."

I smiled. "Great. Problem solved. Let's hit the lake."

He looked at me with serious eyes. "I can't."

I shrugged. "Zip line?"

"No. Emma. I can't stay." He said sternly. "We even have a jockstrap that's been passed down by generations."

I looked at him and nodded. "Is this supposed to get me to understand your decision? Cause I'm not happy your choosing used underwear over me!" I raised my voice.

"Emma, relax." He told me.

"NO! NO! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO RELAX WHEN MY BOYFRIENDS LEAVING ME!" I screamed. I started to feel the tears stream down my face and ran away.

Xander's POV

I sat down on the cabin front porch with my head buried in my hands.

Sometimes she is so difficult

I sighed and went inside the cabin. I started to pack my bag until a heard a slight knock at the door.

"Come in." I told them.

"Hey." I recognized the voice to be Emma's.

"Oh, hey." I said sadly.

It hurts when your girlfriends mad at you.

"I'm sorry for yelling about you leaving." She said quietly.

I smiled. "I understand."

I could see tears coming down her face. I used my thumb and wiped them away.

"Hey, maybe I'll be back." I said as I pulled her into an embrace. She cried into my shirt until we pulled away. She wiped her face.

"I-I just don't wanna lose you." She whispered.

"You won't." I told her. She gave me a hug and a kiss.

"Don't forget about me if you don't come back." She said.

I smiled. "Never."

She gave me one last hug before I grabbed my bags. I blew her a kiss and walked out of the camp. I put my bags into my dads car trunk and waved off to Emma as I drive back to what I call home.
