(Kurt's POV)
So I drove around the rest of the community and well as I was about to drive home I saw a place that well... Had a lot of memories. It was the community center... That same place we found our hearts, just Sam and I. I walked around the center... I haven't been here since the fire incident... So I haven't seen how they re built it. The place looked so "new"... This was crazy.. All these memories were coming back! I think I shed a tear because I couldn't hold in all the emotions I was feeling.. I was; sad, happy, confused, relieved and god know what else. I was walking around the place and I wasn't paying attention to what was in front of me! I bumped into two police officers!
"Oh my bad I'm so sorry!" I say
"Hey its OK kid!" One said
The two officers chuckled
"You look familiar" the other one said
"Oh does Kurt James Williams ring a bell?" I ask
"Oh you! We remember you from the fire case! You were a victim!" An officer said
"Ya... How are S-Scott Hoying and Al- Alex Goot doing?" I asked with a stutter cause those name were to depressing to even talk about
"Oh.. Well they both died a month ago..." One of them said
I was shocked
"From what?" I asked curious to know
"Drug overdose" The other officer said "We don't know where they got the substances from but they over dosed"
Well I guess they finally met there maker. God bless them. Make then better people in there next life
"That's shocking" I say
"Very" the officer replies
You have a case on 111 street!
That was there walkie talkie.
"Roger that!" One of them said to it "Listen kid it was nice seeing ye but we gotta go!" The officer told me
"I understand! See you around" I say
We waved at each other and then the officers ran off
I figured I'd go too, as I left I stared into the gym windows and remembered the kids I used to teacher. I got out of the building and I got to my car. As much as the memory's were begging me to stay I wanted to leave really badly. So that's what I did I just drove off, I drove probably faster then I should have... Cause I got home very quickly. Alisha had already left with the kids to go get Levi from swimming, so I was home alone. I put my hands on my face
"Why!" I screamed across my house
"WHY"
Why do all these places bring back these depressing memories! I don't wanna take these memories with me on tour! I don't! Then as I was hating myself for a moment I hear the door shut and kids laughing. I turn around to find Alisha and the kids at the door... My kids run up and hug, my wife walks up and presses her lips onto mine so we share a kiss... These were the memories I wanted to take with me.. And keep forever.
