Home was hard. I hated it. All my parents wanted to do was talk me into being a Christian again. I hated it. And better yet my cancer had spread into my bones and I still got monthly treatment. I honestly didn't think that the chino therapy was really working. But quite frankly I didn't want it too. I just wanted it to be over.

I lay in my bed, restless. I couldn't sleep not after what happened. I really wanted to text him and tell him what was really happening. I reached for my phone when it buzzed. It read. Message from Amand.. just great

I opened up my messages and Amanda had a blue dot on her name which meant that she sent me a message. I opened it up and it said. Thanks for letting Collin down. Now he's heart broken and I will be the one there for him! Oh Mel your so gullible 😏🤣.

I turned off my phone and decided I should just try to sleep again. Uhg I hated Amanda on my life. I have never actully hated some one.

I heard my phone buzz. Uhg Amanda stop texting me. I didn't care anyways I picked up my phone to see what she said but to my surprise it was Collin. I started to text back.

I was really surprised with his texts. But at least He knew what it was about. I set my phone back down and about 5 minutes later I got another text. AHGGGGGG!!!!!!! This time it was Amanda

I set my phone back on my nightstand and tried to sleep again. [Buzz buzz] NUHHHHHH!!! I picked up my phone and looked at the screen it was Amanda she has texted me "you little jerk! He hates me now!! Your gonna get it. I hope you burn in hell! 😡👺!"
I felt a warm tear trickle down my face. I threw my phone across the room as hard as I could. I screamed during this process. I heard the phones screen shatter as it hit the wall across the room. Foot step patterned in a hurry I could hear them getting closer to my room. The door swung open. The light flickered on and it was Chase.

Chases POV
I tossed and turned trying to sleep. But I couldn't. Just then I heard Mellissa scream followed by loud sobs. I waited a couple seconds wanting my parents to go check on her but then realized that dad was on a business trip and my mom was over at someone else's house. Well she was at a guys house named James she went there whenever dad was away. I knew what she did there. She cheated on dad. It's cruel.

I ran to Mellissas room and slammed the door open. I flicked on the room light and saw a her phone at the other end of the room. Shattered.
She was sobbing on her bed. I ran over to her and gave her a big hug. She hugged back still sobbing,
"What happened?" I asked
"Am-and-a" she sobbed
I went over to the other side of the room. I picked up the shattered screen-phone and saw the text message from Amanda. That was my last straw.
"I will be right back" I explained she just nodded

I went down to the kitcheen and and well first of all looked through al the messages. I called Collin and got all the info from him then I called Amanda's parents. I explained everything
