Karkat woke up on the top bunk, he slowly came to realize where he was, In Terezi's room, that's right...he had a recent fall out with Dave. It would be awkward to stick around. He got up, seeing Terezi was already up and currently not in the room. Lazily, Karkat walked back over to Dave's room, who was thankfully away as well. He changed and combed his hair, soon leaving the room. He looked at the clock, it was 10:00AM, not a bad time to wake up. The hallways weren't as bustling as usual which was strange, but Karkat left it at that. This time, the bar was the one place bustling, that wasn't normal. Whatever. Terezi sat at her own usual seat, and Dave was no where to be found. Thank gog, Karkat wasn't sure if he could take the awkwardness. He decided to chill with Terezi, who was sitting with a boy in red and blue glasses, creative.

"Hey Karkat!" Terezi waved.

"Hi, who's this?" Karkat asked.

"This is Sollux." Terezi pointed to the nerdy looking boy.

"Ah, so basically my brother? Cool."

Sollux spoke up, "That was our ancestors, not us."

"Wise words." Karkat agreed. The last thing he wanted was to be red with Nepeta, not that there was anything wrong with that.

"Have you solved the problem with Dave?" Terezi asked.

"Why do you care?" Karkat spat.

"Because I'm a good friend." She crossed her arms.

"Well I haven't seen him yet, he's probably holed up in his room." Karkat rolled his eyes.

"Then go see him!" Sollux urged Karkat on.

"I think I'm fine." He sighed, "I have no time to put up with his shenanigans, he needs to toughen up." Karkat said.

"Karkat," Terezi began, "I know I told you there was no time for emotions, but that doesn't mean you can be a stone cold leader! You need to be compassionate as well." Terezi stopped.

Karkat sighed, "Very well." Sollux sensed the awkwardness.

"I'll be going now! I have things to tend to." Sollux hurried off, waving.

"Looks like we scared him away with personal conversations." Terezi chuckled.

"wouldn't fucking blame him." Karkat uncrossed his arms.

" Oh look, there's Dave." Terezi pointed at the man playing pool. Where the fuck did this place get all of these things?! What ever, "he looks like he's pretty seasoned when it comes down to it, he plays often."

"Does he gamble?" Karkat asked.

"You bet, but not with money, but with favours. If Dave looses, he owes his winning foe a favour. That goes for all gambling games."

"Sounds convinient."

"It really is, Dave always wins so every one almost always owes him." Terezi smiled lightly, "Would you give it a go?"

"Oh no, I'm fucking terrible at pool Terezi. I don't plan on owing any fucking favours anytime soon!" Karkat hissed, "why don't you try?"

"Gambling isn't my thing." She shrugged. "Look! A game is ending and to the looks of it, Dave won, again."

"Where does he get these skills?" Karkat asked, confused.

"He has had to much free time lately." Terezi looked at Karkat, "It was the first time in awhile when Dave was actually deployed on a mission to get you, after last times incident. But, I have no right to be telling you what happened, that's privacy."
