*Dan and Kyle have been secretly together for three months, only telling close friends and being careful about showing affection in public.*

"Dan!" Kyle calls from the bathroom.
"What?" Dan calls back, pulling out his earbuds.
"I'm out of toilet paper!" Kyle screams frantically.
"One sec, babe!" Dan yells, pausing his movie (Lost Highway). Dan dashes across their newly-shared (used to be just Dan's) apartment into the closet full of soaps, detergents, and other products. Pushing aside a pile of empty paper towel rolls that Kyle insists on saving for the future, Dan fishes out the final toilet paper roll. Dan parades back across the house to the bathroom, opening the door a crack. He shoves his hand through the opening into Kyle's reach.
"Jesus Christ, Daniel! We've been a couple for three months now. You can open a fucking door." Kyle says, pulling the toilet paper out of Dan's hand.
"I know..." Dan says.
"It's Valentine's day, for fuck's sake!" Kyle pleads. The toilet flushes loudly, and the sound is followed by the sink flowing.
"And speaking of Valentines day," Dan says.
"Yes?" Kyle asks, hoping Dan's going to pleasantly surprise him. "Should we come out to our fans?" Dan says. Dan immediately realizes that he should've cushioned the blow instead of just dropping it on Kyle. The door to the bathroom opens, and Kyle's soft mocha eyes meet Dan's icy blue ones.
"I don't know what to say." Kyle lies. He wants to scream about how amazing their relationship is now and there would be so much pressure to stay together if they told the fans.
"I know I just kind of dropped this on you, but I think since it's Valentine's day, people are in the lovey mood." Dan says, picking a scab on the back of his hand, avoiding eye contact so he doesn't have to see Kyle's reaction. He knows Kyle wants it to stay secret, but Dan knows some fan is going to find out and tweet it along with proof if they don't tell the stormers.
"Can we talk about this... maybe later?" Kyle asks.
"Of course babe!" Dan says. Kyle kisses Dan on the cheek, where Kyle's lips feel Dan's dimple as he smiles.
"It's nearly dinner time," Kyle says, breaking the connection between both of them.
"Do you want to go out? Like, somewhere casual?" He asks.
"That would be awesome!" Dan replies. "Casual enough for me to wear this?" Dan says, gesturing to his outfit. He's wearing a "Resident of Twin Peaks" sweatshirt and black sweatpants.
"That's not even acceptable to wear to go down to the lobby of our building, you weirdo!" Kyle says playfully.
"It's not any better than what you're wearing!" Dan says, gesturing to Kyle's striped tank top and black ripped jeans. "Not to mention, you're wearing the shoes that look like you spilled microwave mac n cheese on them!" Dan laughs.
Kyle looks slightly offended, but playfully says "Well then!" and laughs as well. Kyle notices how beautiful Dan looks when he laughs. Dan is thinking the same thing. Dan walks over to a large closet (that they share) and picks out a dressier shirt. Kyle watches him sort through the ones on hangers. Dan holds up a white and grey striped button-up shirt and a red plaid one. "Well?" He asks.
"For starters, the red shirt is mine." Kyle says, smirking.
"You're telling me I've had your shirt for three years and you haven't said anything?" Dan says.
"Yeah." Kyle replies casually. Dan shrugs and holds the red one up to Kyle. "Red brings out your eyes." Dan decides after a nearly uncomfortable amount of staring. He tosses the shirt (still on the clothes hanger) to Kyle.
"You look good in white. Like a little pale snow angel!" Kyle exclaims childishly.
"Wow, Kyle. That's the best compliment I've ever received." Dan says sarcastically, peeling off his sweatshirt revealing a plain white undershirt.
"The best compliment I've ever received is when Will accidentally called me by your name." Kyle says, unbuttoning the red shirt.
"You smooth little fuck." Dan replies, uncontrollably blushing. Dan slips into the white shirt and buttons from the bottom up.
Kyle runs over and playfully smacks Dan's butt. "KYLE!" Dan screams, flipping around.
"I'm sorry... it was too easy." Kyle says, pulling off his tank top.
"Fight me, you ceramic bitch!" Dan says, playfully, only half of his buttons in their proper holes. Dan eyes Kyle up and down, who's only wearing his jeans and boxers. Dan pounces on Kyle, pulling him onto the queen sized bed they share. With Kyle playfully fighting back, Dan manages to pin Kyle to the mattress.
"This... is not fair!" Kyle says, locking gazes with Dan.
"Surrender, mortal!" Dan yells, startling Kyle. Kyle's wrists are pinned to the mattress by Dan, who keeps Kyle's legs down with his knees. Their chests press together, creating a tension between the two.
"I... surrender!" Kyle says, noticing Dan leaning closer. The grip on Kyle loosens as Kyle's nose is met by Dan's lips.
"Lets get ready for dinner." Dan says, rolling off Kyle in the most uncomfortable, inconvenient way possible. Kyle watches as his boyfriend buttons up the rest of his shirt. Kyle clumsily stumbles to the closet and puts on a white shirt to wear under his button up as well. Dan watches Kyle slide into his shirt.

Thanks for reading. I think I love Dyle more than Woody likes Plymouth. :)
