Alice Longbottom ii and James Potter ii

Almost 10, 9 3/4

I was walking and I finally got up the guts to run through the wall to get to the train. I say goodbye to my mum and dad though they come too. Since they work at Hogwarts and dad is the head of Gryffindor I really don't get any privacy. So if you wonder why I don't just tell Jamie, that's what I call James, that I like him, my dad and mum are that reason.

Frank and I give our "goodbyes" and I find Jamie, Lil, or Lily, and Rose. I guess you could call us the new marauders. We are pretty goofy and we are the Pranksters with Freddy, Fred, and Rox, Roxanne.

"Hi, Ali," I hear Jamie say. Rose always says that he blushes whenever he talks to me but I don't see it.

"Hi, Jamie!" I responded, but I felt myself blushing and saw Rose smiling.

"Ya, hi Jamie," Lily giggles.

"Be bloody quiet Lily you know I hate it when people call me Jamie unless it's mum or Ali!" Jamie yells at Lily, but Lily is still laughing.

"Lets go," Rose says still kind of laughing.

We walk up Jamie and I are behind the others, I feel Jamie's hand rub against my while we walk. I wonder if he's doing that on purpose or if he's just walking. Either way I smile.

We get to our compartment and Lily suggest we play 'Truth or Dare.' Everyone agrees Rose says she will go first and I'm kind of nervous.

"James, Truth or Dare," Rose says.

James as always says, "Dare!"

"Ok, you have to tell me who you like," Rose smiles an evil smile.

"Ok," he goes up to Rose and whispers something in her ear and I guess Lily heard it to because she gasped.

"Lily, Truth or Dare," Jamie asked.

"Truth," she says confidently.

"Mum's your favorite?" Jamie asked.

"Yes, but don't tell dad," she says embarrassed.

"Rose, Truth or Dare?" Lily asked. Hey I'm getting out of this pretty well.

Rose, playing it safe, "Truth."

"Tell Alice who you like since she's your best friend," Lily says.

"She already knows so okay," Rose walks over here and she whispers, "Scorpius." I can't help to smile.

We play a couple of more rounds. I didn't need to say that I like Jamie or anything I just had to flirt with Scorpius. Well that was none less awkward.

It's time to go, Lil and Rose go first. James grabs my hand and I hugged him and got up right away to get my stuff. I blushed hard and so did he. I guess we are almost a 10 but not quite maybe 9 3/4.
