“Whoever did this is going to pay,” one guy, Brandon says, slamming his hand on the hood of his precious car.
I watch from my bench, pretending to read.
“I bet it’s a chick.”
“A scrawny bitch too afraid to face us head on.”
I roll my eyes. The only thing I’m afraid of is the end of this book.
I scan their faces, study the way they stand. I’ve always been observant and careful, but this time I’m using my survival skills to wreak some havoc.
