Jacks P.O.V.

Your tiny body shivers like it is part of an earthquake. Your muscles shake, your voice cracks and you are still there, sitting on that stone hard floor. In the middle of this nightmare. It does not matter how hard you try; you can't get out of this internal loophole.

But you fight against your biggest fear, you scream at the adrenaline in your veins to start working. After a few seconds, your bones start working and your muscles start moving. Even the tiniest movement, can save the day. Or at this point: can save the night.

As you stand up, your knees buckle beneath you. But you are still standing on two feet, although you can fall any moment now. You know that when you fall again, you will get up. But you also know that you don't have the energy to keep on getting up.

You feel the pain in your leg, yet you ignore the wound. You just need to see her for yourself. You need to know if she is going to be alright. You need evidence that she is still breathing. And you will get that evidence; you will fight everyone on your path of getting the truth.

You will win every fight; you will die for what you want most in this world. You will yell the hardest, you will smile the least and you will get to her, you will save her. You will find peace...
one day.

You finally reach Y/N; you are close enough to wake her up, if she can be woken. Her eyes are shut, but it seems like she is enjoying the nightly sky. She stares at the moon, as if the moon can bring back her life. But it will not have to.

'Y/N! Wake up!' you scream. You know how hard your voice can get; you know that you can wake her up. You know how much you want her to open her eyes. You hope that this all be over soon.

'Y/N! Don't leave me; I don't want to be alone. I can't take it anymore. I -I need you,' you cry and your tears fall down your cheeks, only to come in contact with the fabric of her dress.

Tell me honestly, do you believe in fairytales? Do you believe that somewhere in this world, a mermaid is swimming or an angel is flying? Do you believe that love is the strongest spell on earth? Do you think that those stories are real? Do you believe that a loved one's tear can heal all wounds? You don't have to believe, but you have to SEE.

And your tear might be the best evidence humanity will ever get. Because that one tear, is full of love, full of sadness, full of anger. And that one tear, is strong enough to let your love wake up.

And as she does, as her eyes flutter open, you know that you saved a humans life. Y/N cries, before she even realises what has happened. And it breaks your heart to see her that way. It shatters your soul to see hers so damaged. But you know you will fix it, you always fix it.

'It hurts,' Y/N whispers as she stares at the sky again. You take her hand (which has a lot amount of blood on it) and caress it. You want her to feel safer than she ever has. But you know she will never feel safe again.

'I know it hurts, but you have to fight it,' you whisper to your love. You know how it is to be in that ring; fighting against a person you can't win from. But you at least have to try. Because you are tougher than you know.

You see the pain in her beautiful E/C eyes. You see how much she has suffered in such a short period of time. And you know that there is a change she might never be the same. That YOU might never be the same.

You lift your pretty lady up from the car and hold her tight in your arms. Bridal style you take her to anywhere she wants to go. But right now, you need to take her to the hospital, a place she has been too often for her age.

You kiss her forehead softly, hug her quick and sit down in the broken glass although your wound is loudly forbidding you to do so. Yet you think that holding this little fragile human being is more important than anything.

So as you sit on the sidewalk, cross-legged, you rock her softly and sing her a little song. Like people do with babies, or little children who are afraid. And you hope that this tsunami will be over by the morning.

As you rock her up and down, you sing a song she knows too well. A song she has probably heard a million times, and as you sing her that song, she tears up. And so do you. But as long as you sing, you might stop the world from turning.

You hear the ambulance from far away, somebody finally called them. You sigh because you know they will do everything to save Y/N. But everything might not be enough. She needs you and only YOU, for all those scars she got. For all those scars that can't be seen.

You softly rest your spine on the sidewalk. You don't have the energy to do this anymore. You cannot be that happy person, who can make everyone laugh. You cannot be Jack once more, you can only be Sean, the Irishman that is uncomfortable around strangers, silent and kind.

You feel how your skin hits the cold cement of the L.A. sidewalks and you make sure that Y/N's head is resting on your heart. So when your heart beats, she can hear it live. And she knows that you are going to be fine.

Her hair is sticking together by all the blood and you morn about how your date ended. Your best friend literally came crashing into you. And he didn't even feel guilty. But you can't blame him really, he was drunk after all. You will stay angry with him for quite some time you think, but at the end you will always forgive him.

As you see how the moon is at its highest, you feel relieved for some reason. Because that moon is the only thing keeping your eyes open, making sure you won't drift into the back of your mind again. But it cannot continue shining forever, and you know it shall fade.

And so you wait for the ambulance to take Y/N out of your cold hands, with open eyes, staring at the moon, and dressed in nothing more but fear. (did anyone get that reference, don't think so but whatever :P haha)

Y/N tries to get up from your embrace as she whispers softly that help is coming. That you will be fine, and that she will be fine too. But you don't hear her; you just stare at the big white dot in the dark winter sky.

You regret that choice quickly as you notice Felix walking towards your love, still blind drunk. And as he tries to pull her closer, she seems to have enough. She faces the celebrity and punches him right in the face.

You see it happening, all from the side of your eyes. You see how angry she is, and how hard her punch was, because Felix his cheek is turning red. And at that moment you knew...

He would never forget the girl who slapped him.

hey cornflakes, thank you again for reading my book. I hope you still enjoy and sorry if you don't like the ending, but I thought that because Felix is drunk (and because he is Felix after all) he would do something stupid and (of course) regret it.

I hope some of you got the reference in this chapter, and if you did, please let me know in the comment. And I always say to people that are new to our wonderful family that they can ASK ME ANYTHING THE WANNA KNOW. And you can always ask too.

I love you cornflakes, very much. And I am sure that all of you little cereal boxes
