Marks P.O.V.

THIS IS NOT MT DRAWING, I LIKE IT REALLY MUCH AND IT IS BEAUTIFUL BUT IT IS NOT MINE!!! That all...

The smell of medicine fills your nose and you take a deep breathe. You hate hospitals; you hate drugstores, you hate taking medicine, you hate anything to do with getting better. If you have to get better, you first need to be ill. You don't want to be ill.

People are waiting for their turn, hoping that the lady behind the desk is able to help them. You wish that everyone in this room will get better, or the person they are getting the medicine for.

You take in the bright white halls that are circling around you, shapes are twisted, voices are lowered to the sound of demons and any movement in this tiny place is making you sick. You have a headache, as if you were the one with a hangover. But that's impossible, because you don't drink alcohol.

You feel high, like you have been taking all sorts of drugs and mashed them together to one killer pill. Your movements are slow, as you start to feel woozy. You hold on to the door, knowing that people stare at you. You don't mind them staring, you just need to get out if this drugstore with painkillers.

You see a known old lady, staring at you with her beautiful blue and brown eyes. Her grey hair is in a bun; she is not very tall yet seems stronger than any grandma you have ever met. You try to walk towards here, as she stands in the middle of the line people have made.

She scuffles to the side so you can stand next to her, and you really appreciate that. You blink again, hiding the fact that you are high of something you haven't taken. You guess that you are just ill; you probably wake up with the flue tomorrow. These are signs telling you that it was reckless to walk outside with nothing more than a blouse serving as jacket.

'Hallo Margareta,' you smile your famous smile. You stare at Margareta for a good few seconds and she stares back. You didn't have the pleasure to talk to her. You notice her bright pink walker full of stickers from pony's and bob the builder. You smile at the thought of grandchildren, because a tiny part of you wants to be a father so badly.

'Nice to see you again, Mark,' she says slowly as if she thinks about everything she says. Or maybe she talks so slow for the reason that breathing is almost impossible for her.

There are so many people in line, waiting. You know this will take a lot of time, time you don't have. You cannot spend half an hour waiting for painkillers. So you have to react quickly, before the alarm goes off and you have crossed your time limit.

'How long has it been since I saw you?' Margareta asks you while she breathes heavily. You really have to think about that, you have no idea. You don't want to think back, at the time, Y/N was in the hospital. Not one of your brightest days, and certainly not one of Jacks best. Nightmares, tears, laughter, anxiety, all words that already say enough about those hours and those endless nights...

You are saved by your phone, which starts to ring. The room is filled by your ringtone and you look who is calling you. Your eyes agree this is the perfect moment to "screw you over" and the letters are too blurry to read. So you pick up, not knowing who is on the other line.

'Mark!' It is Matthias, his voice as a sudden shake in it. You cringe because of the sudden yell that rushed through your ears. You would want to scream in pain, instead you cadge it up inside. No one must ever know that the always so calm Mark can get angry.

'Where are you?! I had to lock Felix up in the bathroom, hurry!' your friend yells before a punch is being given to a wall and Matthias cringes. You know that once you are at Matthias apartment nothing will be standing anymore. Felix will have ripped everything apart.

'Sorry, I'll hurry,' you whisper for the reason you don't want him to notice your voice, broken and soft. You are reminded why you must be quick once again and you decide to do something you would normally never think of.

You decide to be that kind of asshole who walks in and ignores the line, walking straight towards the desk. You need those painkillers right now; you have no second to waste. Therefore you leave Margareta's side and make your way to the beginning of the row.

You end the call, knowing that every word that will be said right now is a waste of precious time. You see that there are four people in front of you and five behind you. But you pass them all, before you have found the courage to be a total asshole.

'I need some painkillers for my friend,' you say as you stare in the eyes of the lady behind the desk. She doesn't seem to mind you obtruding, and as she makes her way to the medicine you are in the middle of the hate circle. Nine people stare at you, discussed, angry, and furious yet most of all disappointed about the youth of today. But they don't know the back-story and why you are here. They have no idea what happened, and they don't understand. Except for Margareta.

The lady comes back with a small pack of painkillers, and the moment you reach your pocked for your wallet, you notice it is missing; you start to sweat and shake because this is uncomfortable for you and her. You hate when this happens, although it is your first time.

Margareta shambles towards you, having a smile on her face. For a moment you are afraid she is going to roast you, but instead she starts to take her purse. You are shocked, having no idea what she is going to do because your brains have died.

'Mister, are you going to pay or not?' the lady asks with an angry undertone. You get why she is angry, she doesn't want to waste time, and you don't want that either. But you have lost your money, which is not your fault.

'I -I lost my money,' you stutter as your voice cracks. She looks at you, as if she is concerned, before she gets back to business. You feel like something mankind has never seen before, as she stares into your brown eyes.

'Than I can't give you the painkillers, I'm sorry sir,' the lady says and on the moment she wants to walk away so she can get rid of those painkillers, you feel the warm hand of Margareta on your shoulder.

'He is my grandson, you don't talk to him like that!' she says stubborn and with a thick Italian accent. You take in the roll of grandson and take her hand, as the lady suddenly has a huge interest in you two.

'It's okay grandma,' you say as you want to turn your head down. You decide to play the roll Margareta has prepared for you, silently waiting for the lady to say something. And as you slowly move towards the door, turning your back against the lady, she says something very softly.

She excuses.

You look into her hazel brown eyes and as she stares at you, a bit uncomfortable, she repeats what she says louder. The word is looping through the room and you are surprised she excuses herself.

'I hope your friend will be better soon,' she whispers as she hands you over the pack of painkillers. You smirk, knowing you must feel guilty. But you're just relieved that you didn't get in any trouble, although you understand that the lady might get in any trouble, although you understand that the lady will be given some strong words for giving you this without you having to pay.

You take the pack and as you want to run out of the drugstore, you can hear Margareta yell at you: 'Give Y/N the greetings from me!'

You run outside, as the rain hugs you tightly. It has missed you. You are able to relax again, give in to the madness happening in your head. Your stomach burns, your headache is even more torturing than before but you know you need to get to Felix. He is more important right now.
