Stay

One week with the wookie.

"Ok," Leia said. "I'm scared the twins don't like me." Leia said about to cry. Now,Han felt like he had been stabbed in the heart hearing Leia say that. He looked at her and when he did,she started crying. "Come here." Han said opening his arms. "Like,wonder if they love you and totally hate me." Leia said. "Leia,I promise you everything that will not happen. I've seen you with the twins,you're great." Han said causing Leia to look up at him. "Are you sure?" Leia asked. "Positive." Han answered. "Ok,I think I'm ready to attempt sleep." Leia said. Then Han turned off the lamp and both went to sleep,only to be woken up by the boys. Leia got up and went to the nursery. Emerson was the one that was crying. "Calm down,Emmy." Leia said rocking the little Solo in her arms. Then Aaron started crying. "Han!" Leia yelled. Han got up and went to the nursery. "Yes,dear?" Han asked. Leia rolled her eyes and pointed to the crib Aaron was in. "Aaron started crying,Han." Leia said trying to calm Emerson Ian. "Come here,Aaron." Han said picking up the little baby out of the crib. Chewbacca came into the room. "Hey,chewie." Leia whispered causing Han to look up at his wookie friend. "Hi,sissy. Hi,Han." Chewbacca roared quietly. "Want to help?" Han asked whispering. Leia handed him Emerson Ian. Then Han gave Leia Aaron Bail. "I'm going back to bed." Han said walking out. "You big meanie!" Leia exclaimed. Han turned around and walked back into the nursery. Chewbacca handed Han Emerson. "I'm going to go fix Aaron a bottle." Chewbacca growled. Aaron was the only one crying. Then Emerson started crying. "Make that two." Leia said to chewie. Then Chewbacca walked out. "Calm down,Aaron." Leia said getting a little frustrated. "Leia,don't get mad." Han told her. Chewbacca came in with to bottles. He gave one to Han and Leia. "Hopefully,they'll calm down now." Han said. The first one to go to sleep was Aaron. Leia put him back in his crib. "Go get some sleep." Han told her. She walked out. Then,finally,Emerson fell asleep. Han was the only one up,even Chewbacca went to the living room to go back to sleep. Han put his son in the crib and went back to bed.

"Good morning." Leia said to Han when he walked into the kitchen that morning. "What time is it?" Han asked sitting at the table. "0100 in the afternoon." Leia answered holding Emerson. "Where's Aaron?" Han asked. "In his crib asleep. Mara is coming over at about 0400 today." Leia said. "Ok. What about Luke?" He asked taking a bite out of his food. "He has four meetings today." Leia said taking Emerson to the nursery. "Gosh." Han said when Leia came back. "I'm going to go take a shower. You and Chewie look out for my babies." Leia said going to the fresher to take a shower. "Don't worry,sissy. We will." Chewbacca growled.

Later,Mara comes over. "I'm home." She whispered making sure to not wake up the babies this time. "Hey Mara Jade." Leia said coming into the living room with Aaron. "Is that Emmy?" Mara asked sitting beside her on the couch. "Aaron,actually." Leia corrected her. "Hey,Mara." Han said coming into the living room with Emerson. "That is Emmy." Leia said when Han sat on the couch beside them. Leia gave Mara Aaron. "Leia,I love your twins." Mara said. "Mara,I can't wait until you have your baby." Leia said. "Yeah,I'm two months." Mara told Leia. "I have to go use the fresher,excuse me." Leia said getting up. She came back. "Han,we need to feed Emerson." Leia told Han. "Ok." Han said getting up with Emerson Ian. "What about Aaron?" Mara asked. "We fed him 15 minutes ago." Leia said to her. Han and Leia went into the kitchen with Emerson. "Can you fix me a bottle?" Leia asked Han taking baby Emmy from him. He fixed him a bottle and handed it to Leia. Leia fed him at the table and Han stayed in their with her. "Chewie is leaving in about two days." Han told Leia causing her to look up at him. "Yeah,I know. I hate it. I wish chewie could stay." Leia said. "I'm sorry. I'm going to go check on Aaron and Mara." Han said getting up. Leia shook her head and continued to feed Emerson.

It's been two days since Mara came and it's morning. Chewbacca is leaving to go back to kashyyyk today. "Is today the day?" Leia asked when she woke up seeing Han beside her. "Yes. But,the twins will be a week old tomorrow." Han said trying to reassure Leia. "Yeah,but,I love chewie." Leia said upset. "Even more than me?" Han asked. "Sometimes,yes." Leia said. "Whatever." Han playfully said mad. They both got up and made the bed. "You dress Emerson and I'll take on Aaron." Leia told Han. They both went to the nursery to dress the twins. Then went to the living room to find Chewbacca with a packed suitcase. They went out to see Chewbacca's ship waiting for him. "Tell chewie bye." Han said holding Emerson. "Bye.....chewie." Leia said half hugging chewie. She picked up Aaron's hand and waved it. Han did the same with Emerson. "Bye sissy. Bye Han. Bye baby Cubs." The wookie roared. They stood outside watching Chewbacca leave. Leia,who was so upset,couldn't take it anymore and ran inside with Aaron. She put Aaron in the crib and ran to her room as she started crying. Han,who was still outside,just sighed watching Leia run away. He,after five minutes,also went inside. He changed Emerson's diaper and put him in the crib and started looking for Leia. "Leia?" He gently said opening the door to their room. He saw Leia, laying on the bed asleep. "She cried  herself to sleep." Han whispered to himself. He closed the door and went to the kitchen to fix dinner.

Leia woke up. She stood up and walked to the kitchen and saw Han almost done with dinner. He had Aaron and Emerson In  the highchairs.  "Hey,sorry I fell asleep." Leia said sitting at the table. "I know." Han said still cooking. Leia nodded her head and got up. "Need any help?" Leia asked coming to stand behind Han. "Um,can you set the table?"  Han asked her. "Yeah,of course." She said getting the plates and silver ware out. She set the table and Han put the food on the plates. "Let's eat!" Han exclaimed.
