Tears. I was in my car, swerving, crying real tears. I said I was going to get Christian but I missed my turn for the hospital so I had no clue where I was going. Why ? I honestly thought everything would be okay after last night but it's obvious it's not meant for me to be happy. I need answers. Wait, why am I even upset? I set them up, it was bound to happen. "Just suck it up Sabrina" I kept repeating to myself. I turned my car around and went to the hospital. When I pulled into the parking lot I put my shades on, grabbed my purse and went into the hospital like I owned it. "Hello I'm here to checkout my son, Christian Alsina" I said to receptionist. "Yes you'll need to sign these papers then go to room 1212" she said with a generous smile. "Thank you" I said as I took the clipboard and papers. I made my way to the lobby room and sat down to fill out the papers. "We have to stop running into eachother like this" I knew exactly who that voice belonged to. "Well hello Marcus" "Hey stranger" He said as he took the seat next to me. "You know it's rude to stalk people" "I was here first." "Why are you here anyway" "My daughter broke her arm and she's in surgery right now she should be done in a minute" "Oh I'm sorry to hear that. I hope she's fine" "Yeah she's okay. She likes the attention" "Sounds like somebody I know" "Oh so you got jokes" We shared a laugh. " Why you here" "Christian caught a fever yesterday he had to stay overnight so I'm here to pick him up" " By yourself" "Yeah something came up with August" "I'm sure whatever it is, is more important than his son" "Don't do that " He put his hands up in surrender. "You're right but you know you owe me a date right " "How could I forget" "Better not isn't it tonight " " Oh so you want to play like you forgot" "Chill Ma just be ready at 8 okay " "Alright I gotchu I'll text you my address" I said standing up with the papers in my hand. "I'll try" he yelled back . I walked back to the front desk to give the lady the papers so I could go get my baby. She gave me the pass to go back then I went to the room to get him. When I walked in he was sleeping peacefully with a nurse in the room watching over him. "You've got a beautiful baby boy" she said to me. "Thank you. Is he okay?" "Oh he's just fine he woke up in the middle of the night crying but he was just hungry. He should be perfectly fine now" "Ok do I need to sign anymore papers" "No you signed everything already you can take him" "Ok good" I walked over to him and as if on que he opened his eyes and started cheesing. Smiling that toothless smile I adore so much. "Hey mama's baby did you miss me" I said tickling his stomach. He started laughing and gushing around. Out of nowhere he started looking around but it was obvious he couldn't find what he was looking for. "No daddy isn't here but I'm taking you to him right now. " As if he understood he stopped looking around and started sucking on my shoulder as I gathered his baby bag and put it in his carseat so we could leave. "Thank you" I said to the nurse. "No problem " she said as I left the room and made my way to the car. I layed him on the front seat while I set up his carseat. I put him in the carseat, got in and went back to August's to drop him off. I pulled into the driveway, grabbed the babybag and Christian and made my way into the house. "August !" I yelled. He came running from upstairs and to me. He grabbed Christian from me and started playing with him. He ws such a good dad. I hope he's this way with the new one. Christian was obviously overjoy to see his dad he couldn't stop smiling. They were so cute together. "Hey I just got off the phone with my mom she wants us to come visit her" "Oh ok I can't wait when" "I don't know yet but it'll be within this week. Oh and Jessica's coming" I think I heard him wrong. I pray I did, "You said what " "Jessica's coming. Look I know, I know but my mom wants to meet her" "I'm assuming you told her everything" "Yeah" "Whatever I'll be back tomorrow. I got a date tonight" "A date ?! Sabrina did you forget what we did last night? I was serious when I said I was ready to be with you" '' Did you forget what happened this morning you have other things to worry about August now goodnight" "Are you serious right now" "I've never been more serious now goodnight August" I said as I walked out of the house and to mu car. I was headed back to the hotel so I could get dressed. My phone started buzzing in my purse and I was sure it was August so I didn't check it. I got to my room and layed on my bed I have at least an hour to chill so I'm going to lay out before I get ready. I finally checked after it buzzed again and sure enough it was August. But it was a long message instead of a call. It said,"Sabrina your whole life I've watched you turn your back on anyone you became to close to but we got too much history I can't let you go and I swear I'm prepared to fight for you. I know you're going on a date with Marcus and I know for sure he's going to try to fuck and knowing you to get back at me you'll do it but please think about all the good over the bad. Think about all the memories we've since we were kids, think about how connected we are, physically, emotionally, and verbally. I can tell you anything and you know the feeling is mutual. I f anything think about the beautiful creation we made. If you do cross the line with Marcus let's be honest it would only be a quick fuck and neither of us can deny what we did last night was fucking. We made love and you know it. Even the last time we made love. We've been in love forever just no one has had the guts to admit it. I've noticed that you haven't said it back and I understand. Everyone you've ever said I love you to has hurt you but Sabrina I'm not here to hurt you, I'm here to love you. Don't turn your back on me just because things are getting hard. We don't even know if this is true just don't leave I need you more than you understand. I said you can have your fun but I can't let you do this. I'm coming to get you I don't care if you get mad but there is no way you're walking out on me this easy." I sighed knowing that August was serious and that there was no reason to leave because he would find me no matter where I was. How he knew where I was was beyond me. I hated how determined he was, it's the most aggravating thing ever but I love it at the same time. I sat here, not even bothering to move because what's the point of getting ready for a date I know I won't be going on. I did however text Marcus telling him I couldn't make it and that something came up. He of course wanted to reschedule I told him I'd see when I was free again. I heard a knock at the door and knew exactly who it was. I went to open the door and in walked August. "Who's watching Christian, it better not be Jessica" "I'm not stupid I got my manager to watch him. She's been begging to get him to spend the night anyway" "Oh ok" I said walking back to the bed. He followed close behind and sat on the other side of me staring blankly into space."Sabrina what are we doing" "You tell me" "No I'm forreal. Aside from what we are you're still my bestfriend so talk to me what's going on. Tell me what's up and be honest" I sighed, aw man here go the water works. I wiped my eye as a stray tear slipped away. "I don't know I think I'm scared" "Of what" "I don't know losing you completely " "That doesn't make any sense. If you're afraid of losing me why are you trying so hard to leave me" "I guess" I sniffed "I guess I'm just speeding up the process. I don't want to be out here stranded and alone with a baby while you play house with someone else and another baby. I've been alone for too long and now that I've finally found something that makes me feel whole, I'm not ready to let it go." I said "What makes you think that I'm going to leave you though ? I know this isn't the best situation but come on we've been through way worse and for Jessica let's behonest I'll got with her to shut you up about me being with someone" We both shared a quick laugh with that one."And you want to know something else" I noddded my head. "Everytime I ever did anything sexual with her, I had to imagine I was with you" I blushed at that because I knew he was serious."Yeah she's got body, nice lips but you've got something that can never be taken away" "What's that" "My heart. Baby girl you always will." he said getting on top of me kissing me in all the right places. "It'll get harder I'm willing to bet but I gotta know that you'll stay by my side the whole time" he said pulling my dress over my head leaving me exposed in just my lace bra and panties. I nodded my head answering his question.Lost in the trance of his lips as they trailed the outline of my body. He stopped right at the hem of my thong and pulled them down with his teeth. He came ack to me and said,"Uh uh I need an answer with words. Will you be with me no matter what" He said as he blew on my entrance and caved and moaned out a loud YES. "That's what I like to hear" That was the last thing he said for the whole night as he explored me with his tongue.
