Sabrina
I walked into our house and went upstairs. I was physically tired but I had no time for sleep. I grabbed my laptop and phone and laid down on the bed with it in my lap and Christian by my side. I found a dozen apartments online and all for good prices. I only needed three rooms enough for all of us including the new baby. I found one that was about five minutes away from the house it seemed perfect so I had to call up on it. "Hello" the person on the other end said. "Yes I was looking online and ran across your condo . Is there anyway I can come by and view it today " I asked politely. "Of course how about around 6 so I can get everything situated?" she said to me. "Ok that's a plan" "My name's Rhena by the way" " Mine is Sabrina. I'll see you at 6" I said hanging up. It was now 12 o'clock and I still had a lot of running around to do. First I had an appointment scheduled for 12:30 with my doctor to see how the baby's doing. Second I had to start looking for places to open up my studio. I had to stop stripping now that I'm pregnant and with August not being there for financial support I needed to finally pursue my Real Dream. A place where only the finest came and exercised there talents. A place where artist could record their music, professional dancers could dance, and where younger artist and dancers could come and take lessons. I've read up on it and it seems to be lucrative the only problem is in order for me to pull this off I'm going to need a partner. Not just anybody but someone who is known just as much as I am. I'm now realizing how dependent I had allowed myself to be on August because I honestly couldn't think of anyone. I wasn't going to call him and ask either. All I know is I didn't have too long to figure all this out, and this had to work. I needed a change and I needed one fast.
(Doctor's Appointment)
"Hello Sabrina, nice to see you again. Is it already time for Christian 6 month check up " Doctor Rueben said playing with Christian's stomach. "No ma'am actually I think I might be pregnant again and I was just coming to see if I was " "Oh so soon you and August most be going pretty hard huh" she joked. "Something like that " "Alright well what type of test would you like a blood, examination, or the old fashioned pee test" "I'll take the most accurate" " Alright let me go get the needles so I can draw your blood" I nodded and patiently waited for her return. She came back and got straight to work. "Alright how long will I have to wait for the results? " "Like five minutes" "Really I thought it would be weeks from now" " No new system. I can even see how far along you are. Give me a second" She walked out again and came back in five minutes. "Alright well you are indeed pregnant about 4 1/2 weeks along. If you like we can start scheduling your monthly check ups and here are your prenatals " she said handing me my vitamins. "I would like that" "Alright well come back next month around this time so we can see how everything is. It was nice seeing you again Sabrina and you too baby Christian" she said hugging me. "Thank you Doctor Rueben" I said walking out. Now that, that was out of the way I needed to go get Christian put in a daycare. After that I'd be off to the strip club to quit.
After Christian and the situation at Teasers was situated I headed to an empty building to meet with the realtor. I had been trying to set this up for months and it was finally in motion. He assured me that my studio would be up and running by next month. That was perfect timing and I was seriously excited. It was now around 5:30 leaving me with only 30 minutes left until it was time to meet Rhena. I was starving and needed something quick just to sit on my stomach. I headed to Starbucks and picked up two strawberry frapes and a blueberry scone for myself. I headed to the condo and was amazed at how beautiful it was. The pictures online did it no justice. "God please let this work out " I said a little prayer to myself and grabbed the two frapes . I thought it would be rude if I had something and she didn't. I knocked on the door and was greeted by a beautiful woman who looked a little familiar. She favored Erica Pinky. "Hi I'm Rhena nice to meet you. " she said shaking my hand. "I'm Sabrina. I brought you a frape I thought it'd be rude to be drinking it while you didn't have anything." I said handing her hers. "Oh thank you that was sweet of you" "I'm sorry for staring but you look so familiar do I know you from somewhere? " "You've probably seen me with my boyfriend Tremaine" "I knew you looked like Trey's girlfriend, I've seen pictures of you all over his house. It's nice to finally meet you" She looked at me sideways. "Oh it's not what you think him and August are real cool and I usually go over there with him" "August as in Alsina " she asked. "Yeah that's him." "Girl no of fence but that man is gorgeous" "None taken Trey fine too lord that voice" "Girl right" she said as we shared a laugh. "Well let me show you around. Are you and August looking a new place" she asked. "Actually I'm moving out time to fend for myself" "I completely understand I'm actually about to move in with Trey that's why I'm selling this place." "Congratulations. I'm happy to here that" "After being together so long I am too" she said making us both laugh. Rhena was cool and the spot was nice and I saw myself with my kids in here. "So how much for it" "Well we can negotiate how about that over dinner" "That would be nice I'm actually starving do you want to go now " I offered. "Yeah why not just let me grab my stuff" She said going to the back.
After that me and her went to dinner, discussed some things, and I actually had a genuinely good time with her. The only issue was my phone buzzing. It was obviously August and I knew it was only the beginning of everything.
