Heart On Fire

Chapter 18

I have been trying to teach her how to use the big girl toilet. She is doing fairly good. Now everytime I go to the bathroom, she follows me and takes her diaper off and sits on the big girl potty. It sings when she sits down so she always babbles like she is singing with it.

She also helps me measure ingredients and crack eggs. We make a mess but we always have fun doing it. Just yesterday we were using shaving cream on the kitchen table to draw the alphabet in. She seemed to like it when I made a beard on my face with it. I also painted her nails pink with purple hearts in them. I was very surprised that she sat still for as long as it took to do them.

I found a park with my navagation on my phone and we go there sometimes to. I try to make a point to read to her at night before bed. She likes the pictures more then me reading though. We have been having a blast together. She is so special to me.

We are sitting on the couch watching tv when Kaiden and Tobias comes through the door holding some wine. He comes and kisses me and Emma reaches out for him.

He picks Emma up and blows on her stomach. She giggles so hard she can't breathe. They are so adorable together. He starts tickling her neck and her knees. She loves her daddy. He kisses her forehead and sits her down beside me.

He goes and gets the wine glasses and cups out of the cabinet. He pours wine in the four glasses and chocolate milk in the three cups. Then hands them out to us.

He raises his glass and says "After careful consideration, we have finally convinced the mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, to give us the building permits we so desperately needed to fulfill our dream of having a company in Paris."

"We have a great reason to celebrate. We are now the proud owners Baiser de la brique. We have hired all the necessary contractors to draw blueprints and we will be able to add three hundred more people to our companies family. I want to thank you all for having the patience and faith in me and the support that I needed all this time".

We all raise our glasses to the company and take a sip our our wine. It is truley the best wine I have ever tasted. It is so sweet and smooth.

I am so glad that Kaiden got what he wanted out of this trip. It makes me happy to see him happy. I made a new friend and got closer to Emma and even learned a few french words. When Kaiden asked me to come along I really didn't think I would enjoy myself as much as I have. I am glad that he did.

I like it so much that I would like to come back one day. Maybe he will bring me back when he checks on his business here. I hope so. Kaiden and I are supposed to go out tonight to a nice dinner and for him to show me where his building is going to be at.

I asked him if he would show me all the famous land marks too and he said he was going to suggest that very same thing. It is a good thing that he has already been here several times before. Great minds think alike I guess.

I am trying to get everything packed back up so we can leave tomorrow when he comes in and tells me that he is going to take a shower and get ready for tonight. He told me so I would know to watch Emma and I would know where he was at.

I don't know how to dress tonight so I guess I will just look at what he wears and dress accordingly. I finally have all of Emma's clothes packed with the exception of one outfit for her to wear tomorrow to go home in.

Kaiden walks out of the bathroom with nothing but a towel on. I try not to look at him but everytime I see his tight stomach and chest I am in awe.

I can't help but have dirty thoughts as my gaze falls down to his happy trail. He gets a pair of boxer briefs and goes to the closet. When he comes out he is wearing a black suit with a white button up shirt underneath. I guess I need to dress nice. I bought a beautiful and elegant dress when me and Trisha went shopping the other day and I think it would be perfect for this occasion.
