Cat x Reader: (Y/n) Play With Me

"Hey.....hey Mitsuba!" You whisper yelled towards the supervisor of building 3.

"Hm? What is it darling?" He turns to you.

"Do you see Cat any where?" You ask quietly, looking around.

Kiji looks around the guard room for a moment. The only people in said room at the moment is Hajime, Kenshirou, Yamato, Mitsuru, himself and you. Samon just left the guard room with Inori, most likely scolding him about slacking off.

"No. Why?" Kiji turns to you.

"Good. It's just that ever since I found out I like him it's hard to be myself around him now. I get so awkward and embarrassed easily." You practically whimper behind the couch.

"I see. So you think the best way to deal with this is to distance yourself away from your best friend?" Kiji sighs.

"Yeah! Obviously!" You yell. You didn't mean too though.

"(Y/n) nya! Why are you avoiding me?" Mao suddenly runs into the guard room.

"M-Mao! I was just-hey put me down!" You yell onc eyou feel yourself get picked up by the back of your collar.

"If you two are gonna yell, then do it outside." Hajime says irritated.

"Put me down! This is embarrassing! I'm not a puppy!" You shrugged to get out of his grasp.

Anyone remember this scene? XD

"Hajime-Senpai! Please put (Y/n) down!" Mao lightly panics as he tries to get Hajime to release you.

-Time Skip-

"Thanks Cat." You pant lightly as you're hunched over, catching your breathe from the run.

"No problem (Y/n)." Mao pants with you as he catches his breath. Hajime sure is fast.....you honestly have no idea how you escaped a gorilla like him.

"Well.....I'm gonna go now. Bye!" You break the awkward silence in a rush and try to run off.

"Nya! No! You're staying with me!" Mao wines as he clings himself to your waist.

"Can you let go? I have somewhere I need to be." You said. It's partly a lie but also partly true. You need to go somewhere but it's not EXACTLY important. It's true because you want to get away from him.

"Where?" He asks, wanting a reason.

"I have a meeting with the other deputy supervisors!" You say the first thing that comes to mind.

"We don't have a meeting!" Mao reminds you. You mentally threw yourself at a wall for forgetting that Mao is also a deputy supervisor.

"Well..." You try and figure out a reason.

When you don't say anything, Mao let's go of your waist but holds your hand in his paw so you don't run off anywhere.

"(Y/n).....play with me!" Those four words that you love leave his mouth. You glance at him and see him smiling. You absolutely love it when he says '(Y/n) play with me'. It just gives you happiness. When the other guards hear it, they think naughty thoughts but you and Mao just ignore them.

"Okay. I guess I could." You smile shyly at him.

"What are you waiting for then Nya?" He asks, the smile not leaving his face.

You giggle and grab a cat toy. You knew Mao is well human. Surprisingly, he actually enjoys cat toys.

"C'mon Mao! I know you want it." You taunt happily as you raise the stick with the string and a plushy at the end of it.

Mao smiles as he bats at the hovering plushy of both you and him.

-With The Guards-

Hajime, Kiji, Kenshirou, Yamato and Mitsuru all poke their heads around a corner in the hallway.

"When do you think they'll confess?" Kiji asks no one in particular.

"They? I thought it was one sided." Kenshirou says.

"Nah. Mao had actually had a crush on her for sometime now. (Y/n) is just figuring out her feelings." Mitsuru speaks up.

"I feel like we should give them 'the talk'." Kiji speaks up seriously.

"Or even just leave them some condoms." Yamato nods his head.

"What are you guys doing?" Samon's voice speaks up.

"Quiet Monkey!" They yell at him.

In the end, Samon never knew what everyone was talking about.
