Kiji x Reader: Shy Queen

•Kiji POV•

"The men around here have no manners. Such a disgrace." I huff to myself as I walk into Nanba's library.

"Now what was it Samon wanted? Hajime wanted something too. Kenshirou also said something." I quietly talk to myself as I walk between shelves of books.

'I can't believe they made me their errand boy.' I thought a bit annoyed.

I thought back to what they had requested and went to go get what books they either wanted or needed.

"I'm on break. Might as well relax for a bit." I look at my wrist watch and grab some random book that caught my interest.

I took a seat at one of the tables, set the requested books aside, and opened my own book.

Before I could read, I hear something behind me.

Turning around I see a girl with (h/c) hair, (e/c) eyes, kneeling down, with a magazine in her hands.

"Hello?" I try to talk to her. She flinches and looks at me in a panic before bringing the magazine closer to her face, in an attempt to hide herself. 

"A quiet one aren't you?" I once again try to speak with her.

I get only a nod and a small, almost inaudible, "Yeah."

"I don't think I've ever seen you around before." It felt like I was speaking to a wall but hopefully I get some words out of this girl.

"I'm always in here. It's almost always empty in the library so yeah." I can't quite hear her but I was able to make out what she's saying.

"I see. What would your name be?" I ask her. She tenses and tries to hide herself even more the magazine.

"...Hyakushiki. (Y/n) Hyakushiki. " I stare at her in shock. A Hyakushiki?

"A-are you by any chance-"

"There you are." I look at the voice who cut me off and immediately stand up straight.

"Hello Warden Hyakushiki." I greet my boss.

"Hello Supervisor Mitsuba. How's your break?"

"Going well ma'am."

"That's good to hear. Now (y/n), come on. Your lunch is ready in my office. Wouldn't want it to get cold now do you?" The Warden walks over to where (Y/n) is.

"No big sister." She says as she gets up.

"Warden. If I may ask, are you two by any chance related?" I ask.

"Yes we are. She's my younger cousin." The Warden says.

"I see. I was wondering who she was." I smile at the smaller girl. She looked to be about mid twenties.

"I've been searching for you for awhile now. Your food is probably all cold. You should head out for lunch instead." I hear the warden ask.

"Okay. Thanks for going for the trouble of finding me big sister." (Y/n) smiles lightly.

"If you'd like, I could take her out for lunch. I was just heading out myself. It would be a lot more enjoyable with some company." I offer with a smile.

"I think that's a lovely idea. You should join him. Who knows, maybe you might make your first friend."

"O-okay." (Y/n) nods.

The Warden soon walks away, probably going to her office. I turn towards the smaller girl,

"So (y/n), I hope you don't mind but I have to make a stop towards the guard room for a moment. Would you like to tag along? Then we could go for lunch."

"Okay. Sure." She smiles a little.

•Time Skip•

"Well, let's go. Lunch hour is almost over." I walk out of the guard room and see (y/n) looking at the pictures on the walls.

"Okay Kiji." She smiles at me. I don't know why but I blushed.

•Bonus•

"Look at that. Drag Queen and Shy Queen, going out for lunch together." Mitsuru says.

"Who's the girl?" Samon asks.

"I'm wondering that myself." Hajime pipes up.

"That's (y/n). The Wardens cousin. Though they refer to themselves as sisters instead of cousins." Mitsuru turns to the other guards just in time to see,

"The Warden's cousin!?"
