Musashi x Reader: Even then, In the end

-----Past-----

"Musashi!" A young collage girl calls out to her friend.

"Hello (Y/n)." Musashi turns to you.

"I wanted to ask if you would help me with this weeks assignment." You smile cheekily up at him.

"I'd be happy too but what about Claude?" Musashi brings up your boyfriend. Well, the entire campus thinks he's your boyfriend. In reality you just work together.

"Claude? Oh! Yeah! Well to be honest I never really thought about that. The first person I thought of to help me was you." You admitted.

Musashi hid his blush as he shyly nods with a smile.

"Well I'm glad I managed to beat Claude to your brain I guess." He sweat dropped at his own statement.

"(Y/n)! Let's go!" 'Claude' stands near the big fountain.

"Coming! I guess I'll see you later than Musashi!" You wave with a bright smile and run towards your 'boyfriend'.

-----Present-----

A few years of passed since then. Since that day, things have only gotten worse for Musashi.

His parents died in a fire, everyone was afraid and disgusted of him, he went to court, got arrested. That's just the beginning.

He then was used as a test subject, became a human toy, lost his eyes, Snow like skin became tanned, more cold hearted and strong as well. Also he found out the 'boyfriend' of yours, was behind his parents death. Elf. The guy from his collage. The one who everyone thought was (Y/n) (L/n)'s boyfriend. Turns out 'Claude' was just a cover up.

"Hey." Musashi lifts his head up at the familiar voice. There, he sees is his favourite person in the entire world. You.

"What's up? I was wondering when you would visit me." Musashi asks amused.

"Sorry. I would have came a lot sooner but Elf can be pretty whiney when he wants to be. Honestly, he's like a five year old kid begging their parents to spend an extra day or two in Disney World." You sigh.

You then stopped when you heard Musashi growl at the mention of Elf.

"Sorry. Let's move onto a different topic okay?" You sit down cross legged on the floor.

Musashi then calms down and smiles at you. "Yeah I guess you're right. But their is something I've wanted to ask."

"I know. You ask me every time I stop by to visit you. I'll tell you again. I had no idea Elf was helping the man with the scar. I do plan to continue being friends with Elf, but I do still want to be even greater friends with you." You smile at him warmly.

Even though he can't see, he knew the smile on your face was there. You know how? The cold, underground level of building 4 felt so warm. Even with his intense body heat, nothing could compare to your smiles.

*arf!*

"You do know it's unlady like to sit crossed leg right?" He refers to you sitting cross legged. Yeah he knows you ain't sittin right!

"You do know I don't care right?" You deadpan.

"Same as always. I hope you never change." He smiles.

'Even with a different appearance, he's still as handsome as ever.' You thought with a heavy blush. 'Then again, it wasn't his looks I fell for.'
