Some days
I wish you all
The happiness in the world
When I see you smiling
I was never yours
And you were never mine
But still on those days
I hope you are happy
Some days
I wish you all
The horrors of this world
All of its ailments
All of its sadness
On those days I am glad
I was never yours
And you were never mine
Some days
I wish my eyes
Did not seek you out
That they would not play
Such cruel tricks
As to look at your face
Some days
I wish you were gone
From my memories
From this Earth
I wish, I wish that I had
Never wasted my kisses on you
Not one
Not two
Not three
But I did
Some days
I wish I did not hate
How I wanted to be yours
And wanting you to be mine
