"Shawn!" She beams as she makes her way over to Shawn after the performance. They hug and Shawn smiles and is happy to see her again. I smile realizing how happy Char makes me.

That kiss was perfect and tonight has been perfect. Everything worked out really well and now I watch as Shawn introduces Char to Andrew. I walk over to them and Shawn sends me a small smirk meaning he just saw the whole thing.

"Surprise," Shawn and I say to Char as she looks between the two of us. Her smile is so contagious, I don't know if my heart can keep up with her.

"You guys are amazing! I had no idea you were coming this early," she says amazed. "We need a trio picture."

"Alright," I chuckle and Shawn nods with an agreement. Shawn and I lead Char back to the gazebo and we stood inside in the gazebo. We have Char stand in between us and we wrap arms around each other.

Andrew and Jared are taking pictures from angles as we smile and laugh because Char is giggling.

"Andrew!" Shawn chuckles and I couldn't help to join the laughter. The mood is light and we have all the time in the world. 

"How about you guys pick her up?" Andrew asks. I look at Char then Shawn who is already looking at me.

"Alright," Shawn says. Char wraps her arms around our necks as we pick her up. She laughs lightly as we pick her up and I smile towards the camera.

"Char, you should kiss Jacobs head," Shawn says and I look towards Char who leans over to kiss my forehead. I smile as we take our few pictures before putting her down.

"Are you hungry at all Char?" I ask her. She turns to me and nods. I look towards Shawn and he smiles. "So..." I start with a big smile. "You have any idea where we're staying this weekend?"

"I'm not really sure," she shrugs with a small hopeful grin. "I've heard it cost a fortune to rent out one of these cabins here by the lake." I don't say anything as I let her catch on.

She looks at me and stares for a moment, then her eyes widens and she gasps. Shawn and I chuckle as we both catch her from losing her balance.

"You rented one of the cabins?! Didn't you?" she asks in utter shock and her eyes wide.

"You're pretty good at guessing," Shawn says. "We're staying at one of the cabins with the lake view." Char looks between the two of us with her mouth parting before looking out into the lake view.

"Char?" I ask. She turns to me trying to comprehend everything she has been told.

"Jacob." She pauses. "This is way too mu-"

"Ah," I interrupt her. "You agreed to let me plan out our weekend. I want this weekend to be perfect for you. I think this is something well deserved for you," I say softly. I notice her eyes watery and she has a really big smile on her face as she hugs me tightly. I wrap my arms around her and kiss her head.

"You're amazing Jacob!" I can tell how excited she is and I pull away to see how happy she is. I'm glad I am able to give this to her.

"How about we all head over there now? Only if you're ready to leave the dance Char."

"I'm ready to go," she says shyly and smiles nodding. "I should say bye to my brother first."

"Alright. You can also invite him to the cabin if you'd like. We can all bond this weekend if you'd like?"

"Really?"

"Of course. There's quite enough room for all of us."

"Okay. I'll be back." I nod and she leans over to kiss my cheek before she makes her way down the path and through the bushes. I turn to Shawn who has a smirk.

"You didn't tell me you were going to be kissing your crush tonight," Shawn says with the pat to my back.

"I had no idea this was going to happen," I half smile. "I really hope she's having a wonderful time. I keep thinking back when she told me Hayes never took her out since the snow ball in February and I feel awful."

"Well from what I can tell, she really appreciates everything you're doing for her. She looks happy and she is into you. No question there. I think maybe you are the right person for her."

"She seems happier. I'm happier, honestly," I smile.

"Thats' great man. I'm happy for the both of you."

I walk around as everyone would congratulate me. I thank them as I would also ask if they have seen my brother Aaron. The ballroom is very spaced out and big. It's quite difficult to spot him when many people are still here.

I spot Sandra from a distance and I shrug to myself thinking, she may have an idea where Aaron is. I walk off towards the less crowded area where Sandra was getting a plate of fruits.

Once she looks up and notice I am here, she sighs.

"Yes Char?"

"I was wondering if maybe you've seen my brother?"

"Why? So you can tell him all about your wonderful kiss?" She says with an eyebrow raised.

"How did you...?"

"I'm not stupid. It's funny how you and Hayes break up and the next thing you know, you're going for his best friend."

"I didn't mean for that to seem that way."

"How do you think Hayes feels about this? Do you think he's okay with you dating one of his best friends? Did you ever think this might actually ruin there friendship because of you?"

"I wouldn't let that happen," I say softly.

"Did you even ask Hayes? You don't even deserve Jacob," Sandra glares at me. "Jacob is the most kindest guy and then there's you. How exactly do you think this will all play out?" I bite my lip. I shouldn't listen to her.

"That is none of your business."

"Just remember you're messing everyone's friendship, because you're in the middle. You'll be the reason Jacob and Hayes are not close as they use to. Wouldn't that be great for their fans?"

"Leave me alone Sandra," I sigh as the words sink into my head. I start to turn away.

"If you knew what was best, you wouldn't let Jacob date you." I walk away and shake my head as I look for Aaron.

~Five minutes later~

I find my brother waiting in the lobby waiting for Marie, his ball date. I slowly make my way over to him and he looks towards me with a smile.

"Hey sis," he looks closely. "Everything alright?" I gave a faint small smile. I suddenly feel like I'm swallowing a hole in my chest.

"I wanted to let you know Jacob, Shawn and I are heading to the cabins for the night." Aaron smiles and nods.

"Surprised to see Shawn here early?"

"Definitely surprised. I... uh was wondering if you wanted to come hangout with us sometime this weekend? Maybe we could do some major Twin bonding sometime."

"I'd really like that Char. I can come over tomorrow around noon. I have to take Marie home and pack a small bag to come back here." I nod and he reaches over to hug me. I immediately hug back.

"Night Aaron."

"Night Char. I'm glad you were able to have your magical night."
