Sleepless night
Filled with his silent cries
His canvas was painted black
Until it started to glow
It glowed with the most magnificent colors he could ever imagine
Colors bring out happiness
Sadness
The black canvas still remained only as a background now
Colors circled around him
Making the sorrowful boy
Light up once again
Sparks flew across the room
Gleaming through the sky
He smiled
For the first time in a while

His canvas was painted black
They were his colors
Thus, now for all he knew it could never change

It's okay to be different from others right? Everyone is unique in their own way. If everyone is same, the world wouldn't be what it is now. All of the hardships and the torture will end. Take his example, dyslexic till grade five, bullied till high school, an orphan, no friends whatsoever and living with a family that considered him as their own which broke him the most. He knew they weren't his. They knew he wasn't theirs hence he kept quite till thankfully they sent him to college where he found them. The first time he made friends. Their bond became unbreakable until one of them left. Simply disappeared. No one knows why. He knew all of them had problems and worries of their own but none of them bothered to ask each other. Even if they did, it would be a lie.

"Hey hyung it's me" I said softly.

"You're still in Korea?" He questioned.

" Yea, it has been long hasn't it?" I said after a few seconds.

" You bet kiddo! Listen there's a New Year party at the same place I've been since the old times".

Just by hearing those words the sparks started to fly again. A smile appeared in his dull face. He knew he had to go before it's too late.
