Hana's pov:

Once Celty and I dropped some of Izaya's clothes in Shizuo's apartment, with some help from Dota-chin, Celty rode her horse back to her and Shinra's apartment as Kadota accompanied me back to Izaya's apartment where I would be occupying. I would also be filling in for Izaya at his job in the meantime he's in Shizuo's care.

We were close to Izaya's apartment, but we still had to walk a few more blocks. I could feel Kadota was really tensed. He was quiet all of a sudden. If he hung around with Saburo, Erika, and Walker, he was known as the quiet one of the group, Saburo the calm one, Erika the otaku one, and Walker the calm otaku one. But whenever I was around him, we'd talk nonstop. He'd become so talkative that what makes me think why Erika, Walker, and Saburo thought of us as a couple.

I sighed and turned to face Kadota who was gazing off into space, "Ne, Dota-chin, are you okay? You can go home and rest if you're not feeling very well. I can go back to Izaya's apartment by myself."

"It's not that, it's just. . . .," he paused.

"Well, come on. Tell me. I won't judge what you have to say even if you were gay, Dota-chin~! You know me better than that!", I teased, making him chuckle as the mood around us lightened up a but.

"Yeah, you're right. Sorry for doubting you, Hana. I was just wondering if you'd go watch a movie with me," he asked.

"Ne~? I'm flattered. Dota-chin is asking me out!", I teased.

"W-what?! N-no! I-I just thought–", I cut him off by holding his shoulders and tiptoeing to kiss his cheek.

"I'm just teasing, Dota-chin," I say, smiling. "I would love to go watch a movie with you. If you were to ask me out, I'd also say yes."

He blushed a bit as I said that. But it was true. I've liked Dota-chin for a while now, loving our conversations and how warm he is when we hug. I loved that he makes me feel warm inside and is the he is. I was just attracted to men like those. But I knew Dota-chin for a very long time, so I guess that made me fall for him even more.

"O-oh. . . .Okay. I-I'll pick you up tomorrow at 6," he said.

"Sure. Don't be late, ne~,"

"Sure," Dota-chin says.

His phone then began ringing. He pulled out his phone and started talking with the person on the other end of the line. I listened to his conversation and found out it was Erika who he was talking to. Once he was done, he placed back his phone in his jeans and turned to me.

"Sorry, Hana. I have to go. Erika and the others are waiting for me," Dota-chin says sadly.

"It's alright, Dota-chin. Ne~, don't be sad. You look more handsome when you smile," I say, kissing his cheek once again before making my way to Izaya's apartment. "See you tomorrow, Dota-chin~!"

He waved oddly, still fazed from my kiss. I giggle, flashing him a grin before turning my head forward to navigate myself back to my younger brother's apartment.

Kadota's pov:

Once Hana had disappeared from sight, I touched my cheek with my hand and blushed. She kissed my cheek. I hadn't expected that, but I was happy nonetheless. At least I know Hana could have potential feelings for me like I had for her. When I first met her, I was head over heels for her, but it was just love at first sight, so I never paid much attention to it. But as time passed, I grew to acknowledge my attraction for her.

I walked back to the alley where Saburo's van was parked and saw Saburo in the driver's seat, his elbow propped over the seat. Erika and Walker were reading their manga and screaming sometimes. I swear, I could hear their voices even as I am outside the van.
