Shizuo's pov:

8 years. That's how long it's been since I've seen Izaya. His apartment was sold to someone else. Namie didn't know where he went. Hana also disappeared. I've tried asking Shinra or Celty if they knew were they were, but they said they didn't know. Kadota says Hana went back to Osaka, but she didn't bring Izaya with her. Mikado, Anri or Masaomi haven't seen him. Tom didn't know either.

I was depressed. Shinra or Celty didn't know, but they were big help trying to cheer me up from my break-up with Izaya. I almost killed Varona, but that bastard, Simon, stopped me from doing so. She went back to Russia and never bothered me. That was a relief. But I wanted Izaya.

"I miss him so fucking much. . .," I sigh under my breath.

"What was that?", Tom-san asked.

"Nothing, Tom-san," I say.

"Okay. We have to go in this building at door 26. Please try not to punch him," Tom-san said.

"I'll try," I shrug.

It was quiet in Ikebukuro for the past 8 years. Everyone was at a shock to see me not fighting with Izaya, but they got over it quickly. Most were happy that he was gone, some were confused. But they didn't care anymore. After all, the world still moved without Izaya. But my world didn't. Nothing ever moved without Izaya.

Before we enter the apartment building, there was a loud yell, "Oi, kid! What the hell!? Why the fuck did you do that!?"

"I-I'm sorry! But you can't just rob people!", a shy female kid's voice exclaimed.

Tom-san and I turn to see a girl that looked about 8. She was wearing a red knee-length dress with short sleeves. She had black pants under the dress and wore black boots. She had brown hair that the right side was tied with a tie decorated with fake pink flowers. She was standing in front of a man who was bleeding badly from his mouth. 'What the hell?! Did she do that?!', I wondered.

"You little shit!", the man got up, pulling a switchblade from his pocket and aimed to hit the girl with its blade.

"What the hell?!", Tom-san exclaimed.

"*gasps* Oba-san*!", the girl exclaimed.

. . . .What?

"GET AWAY FROM MY NIECE!!!", I familiar voice rang.

"Is that. . . .Hana?!", Tom-san gasped.

Hana was there. She looked the same as ever, but much older. If I remember, she should be 36 by now. She punched the guy's face, sending him flying to the building. The people were shocked and afraid. Some were excited. It was the first time in 8 years they've seen some action again in Ikebukuro.

Hana then calmed down and smiled at the girl. She kneeled and opened her arms as the girl ran to her embrace. Then Hana's eyes caught mine. Her crimson-maroon eyes like Izaya's stared right at me. My mocha brown eyes stared at her. She then glared at me. The little girl turned around to meet my eyes as well.

To my surprise, she had both Hana and Izaya's eyes, crimson-maroon. I thought she would be another sibling of Izaya and Hana's, but I remembered their parents were dead. She didn't even looked like Mairu or Kururi. The twins had darker brown hair while she had lighter brown hair. It reminded me of my original brown hair before I dyed it blonde. Not to mention, the girl called Hana her aunt. Who was this kid?

Hana then stood up and began walking away with the girl. I knew this was my one chance to ask her where Izaya was, so I told Tom-san I'd be back and ran to Hana.

I grasped Hana's arm, making her turn her head to me with a scowl, and I said, "Orihara-san!"

"Shizuo, let me go," she snarled.

"Not unless you tell me where Izaya is," I say firmly.

"Ne~? You mean tou-cha–", Hana cut the kid off.

"Eh? Look, Shizuo, I don't know where my brother is, okay? Ne~, even if I did, I wouldn't tell you!", she scowled.

"That's why you know where he is! You won't fucking–"

"What's going on here?", I was cut off by Kadota's voice.

"Nothing, Dota-chin. Let's go," Hana says, pulling her arm from me.

"Hey! Wait–", I was cut off by Tom-san placing a hand on my shoulder.

"Shizuo, let it go. Hana doesn't know where Izaya is, and she has a kid. You can't just fight or curse in front of her.", Tom-san says.

"Sorry. Also, the girl called Hana her aunt. She wasn't her kid.", I say.

"Then the twins' kid,"

"Really? The twins would still be in high school, Tom-san."

"Well, I don't know if Izaya's married or not, but she could potentially be his kid."

"Yeah,"

*Oba-san means 'aunt'.
