Dream:
I slowly open my eyes. All I see is a blinding white light causing my vision to blur. After blinking a few times to get my eyes adjusted to the light, my vision slowly becomes focused.
The white light was coming from my surroundings. I'm in a white room. Absolutely everything is white, but the room is bare of any furniture and strangely.... There's no door or windows. Not even a light bulb to light up the room. It's as if the walls, floor and ceiling are giving off light on their own, which should be impossible..... right?
My feet feel cold. I look down only to see that I'm not wearing shoes and I'm in a sleeveless white dress that ends just above my knees. 'This is strange.... where did I get this dress from? I don't even own a white dress.'
I look up, with the intention of finding a way of getting out of the room, but as I lift my head, my surroundings change. I'm no longer in the white room.
The scenery had completely changed. I'm now sitting on an armchair facing a medium sized window, in what looks to be a living room in a cabin. The interior is mostly made of wood. The room looked very cosy and warm. There was a lit fire not too far from me, with a tv over the mantlepiece above the fireplace. I turn back to the window and look outside. I see that it's snowing outside. It must be afternoon because there is still light but the clouds are blocking most of it, making outside a bit darker than what it would normally be like on a sunny day.
Trees covered in snow are surrounding the cabin. It looks absolutely beautiful. Something catches my eye. In amongst the trees, I see something or someone moving. I lean forward in my seat and squint my eyes, trying to get a better look at what is lurking outside.
"Y/n." I hear someone call my name, but it's not coming from inside the cabin. I stay still, waiting to see if my name will be called again.
"Y/n." I hear it again but it's slightly louder. It's a man's voice. It sounds familiar but for some reason I can't put my finger on who it belongs to.
"Y/n." It's even louder. I look out the window and see a person standing in the tree line, looking at me, but I can't see the figure's face. I put my hands on the arms of the chair, wanting to stand up, but I feel something under my right hand. I look down to see a stem of a plant with a bunch of small purple flowers on it.
'How did that get there? It wasn't there before.' I pick up the flower and look at it closely. 'I wonder what this flower is called.'
I suddenly feel a warm breeze brush past me causing my hair to blow in my face. After removing my hair from my face I see that I'm now in a lush green field of long grass. The birds are singing in the distance and the sun is shining brightly with a few clouds moving with the wind.
I close my eyes, enjoying the feel of nature around me. When I open my eyes and look in front of me, I see the same figure that I saw in the tree line, but this time I can see who it is clearly. It's Jackson. He's standing in the middle of a small patch of purple flowers. The same kind of flower as I saw laying on the arm of the chair.
"Y/n." I hear the voice again but I soon realise that the voice belongs to Jackson. Without realising, I'm running towards Jackson, tears of joy filling my eyes, making it hard to see. 'Oh how I miss him.' I keep running but as soon as I am within 10 metres of him, I can't seem to get any closer. It's like there is an invisible wall between us, preventing me from going any closer.
"Jackson." I utter in between sobs. I'm heartbroken that I can't touch him, I can't give him a huge hug and tell him that I miss him and wish that he was still with me, but I guess just seeing him in front of me is good enough.
