A/N: Don't play video until I say you can😜
"Hey y/n, you ready?" Chris asks me while looking at me through the medium sized mirror in the dressing room that's lined with light bulbs to illuminate my face.
I let out a nervous breath of air and look at my appearance to check that I'm perfect.
"Yeah, I guess so. It's now or never. I can't turn back now, can I?" I say out loud but more to myself than to Chris. My question made Chris laugh and she said that it was too late for me to back out now through her giggles.
"You'll be fine. If you ever get stuck, I'll be right next to you. Just give me the signal and I'll help you." She says standing behind me and placing her hands on my shoulders and resting her chin on my head, but she's careful not to ruin my hair.
I give her the biggest smile I could muster and nod my head to her statement. I then stand up from my chair, straighten my dress and smooth out the creases that weren't there. We then walk out of the dressing room and head to the catwalk.
When we get to the stage, we see that there is a large digital screen at the back of the catwalk that shows the theme name and will show the name of the outfit that the model is wearing.
On both sides of the screen are two very large snow white sheets of material that are hung from the ceiling and ends at the floor. Chris and I have to stand behind those sheets and a bright light is going to shine behind us so that only our silhouettes show on the sheets while we perform our song that we're going to sing.
We decided to do the show like this, simply because we want to put on a good show that will entertain the audience and to give them something that they don't always see. This show will guarantee an increase in Chris's popularity, which is what we're striving for.
While we sing, the models will go down the catwalk and show off Chris's designs. Then when all of them have gone on stage, Chris and I will reveal ourselves by walking out from behind the sheets and walking down the catwalk to show off our own dresses.
I go up on the little platform on the left side, when you look towards the stage and Chris is on the other side. The backstage staff are busy doing final checkups and getting the models ready.
Before I got on the platform, I looked between the gap in the curtains to see how many people were in the audience. I was shocked to see that the entire area is filled with vampires. There was not a single empty seat available.
'Wow Chris is so popular here already. The huge area is already filled to it's maximum capacity.'
I nervously look over to Chris and see her already looking at me with a wide grin and sparkling eyes. A staff member is busy setting up her headpiece with the microphone and I guess that someone will help me with that aswell. Chris gives me a thumbs up for good luck and I give her a smile in return.
A staff member then comes to me and prepares my equipment, with the ear piece and microphone and everything else that comes with it. I look blankly at the white sheet in front of me, listening to the people in the audience chatting happily with one another while they wait for the show to start.
When Chris and I are both ready, Chris checks with the staff if the models are ready, which they are. The models are lined up backstage, behind Chris and I and wait for the signal from the staff to start walking down the catwalk.
Chris looks at the staff and counts down with her fingers, to indicate when the show must start. When she reached zero, a staff member with a walkie talkie speaks into it and the music starts to play. The audience begin to applaud, relieved that their long wait is finally over. As the music starts the first model walks down the catwalk.
A/N: You can play the video now!
I start to sing the first few lines of the song and then Chris sings some lines after me. We keep taking turns so that we have an equal amount of lines to sing. Each time one of us sings the light behind us shines so that our silhouettes are shown and the light behind the other person is switched off. This allows the audience to see which one of us is singing. The models go down the catwalk one at a time in about ten second intervals.
By the sound of the audience, they seem to be enjoying the show we are giving them by applauding. It shows that our hard work has paid off. Chris and I had to brainstorm lyrics for the song and I had to produce the music to go with it. Mark helped us with the little bits and pieces that we were struggling with, which was very helpful. We managed to finish the song before we had to leave, which was a huge weight off our shoulders.
While I'm singing, I can't help but wonder if Jimin is here, watching the show. The thought of him being here makes the butterflies in my stomach come to life. The fact that I haven't seen him in two months makes me excited to see him again. Especially after how he has treated me during his stay with us. His now kind and gentle nature toward me has caused me to start falling for him, and I have a feeling that he knows that I've started to like him.
When the little break in the song came up, it was our cue to go onto the catwalk. All the models have shown their outfits and Chris and I slowly go down the little steps of the platforms and reveal ourselves to the audience when we get to the middle of the stage.
A/N: This is your pretty little dress that you're wearing😉
Chris and I turn to face the audience and I start to get nervous because all eyes were on me. I'm not used to performing in front of crowds. Singing and dancing was just a hobby that I did at home with Jackson and nobody else, so this was very new to me.
Chris could sense my nervousness and gently grabbed my left hand to give me courage and to calm my nerves. She didn't let go and I was very grateful for that.
I looked at her and gave her a smile to show my appreciation for her action. We then walk down the catwalk and look at the audience while giving them little waves to show our appreciation for their attendance.
While I'm waving at the audience, I spot someone who I've been wanting to see ever since I have arrived in Korea. He was sitting in the front row, his eyes never leaving me. As I walk closer to him I wave at him and give him a big smile. He winks at me in return, making me giggle a little bit and making a heat travel to my cheeks, no doubt making a bright pink blush appear.
I'm however shocked by the people that came along with Jimin, and some of them are even more shocked to see me again. I'm guessing that Jimin didn't tell them that I would be here.
'This will be an interesting time with them. I just know it will.'
