Jimin's P.O.V:

"What was so important that I had to come back earlier than what was planned, Father?" I question in anger and irritation because I wanted to spend more time with y/n.

I am at my father's house in his office. Although he doesn't work anymore, he still insists on having an office. It doesn't even make sense to me because he doesn't even need an office anymore.

"Minah told me that you refused to marry her when she visited you." He said calmly.

"Yes I refused. You know that I don't like her, so why make an arranged marriage with her?" I enquire with my voice slightly raised at the end of my sentence.

"Minah's father is my closest friend and we've talked about it for a while now."

"I am not marrying that evil witch." I say through gritted teeth.

"Are you going against my word, Jimin?" Father asks with a raised eyebrow.

"That's exactly what I'm doing Father, and you can't make me marry her." I tell him with confidence.

"Why do you refuse to do it? Why suddenly do you go against me? You always used to obey my orders. What made you change?" He bombards me with questions. Irritation and disbelief evident in his voice.

"I'm in love with someone else." I inform him in a low voice.

"In love with who? That girl you've been searching for for the past year? You barely know her. You don't even remember her name. I don't even know why you are still looking for her, she's dead. You've been using the army to look for her and she has yet to be found. The only reason you haven't found her yet is because she's already six feet under the ground." Father says angrily.

"Although I have been looking for her and still am, I won't give up on finding her. I know she's still alive, I can feel it. And besides I'm not talking about her. I fell in love with someone else."

"Is it another good for nothing human?" He asks darkly.

Although he said that when I find my first love, I can marry her, but he did so very reluctantly. His hatred for humans, whether they are male or female, has made him more cruel than what he used to be. Just the mention of them can make his blood boil.

"She's not good for nothing." I glare at him.

"Ahh, so it is a useless human. I don't know what you see in them that you would choose them over your own kind." His face is showing a mixture of disgust and anger towards the humans but also disappointment towards me for not wanting to be with my kind.

"She can always become our kind." I try to convince him.

"Once a human, always a human Jimin. There's nothing you can do to change that. How do you know she isn't just using you to get what she wants? She could be using you to get the freedom that she wants, she could even be planning your death." He said lowly, daring me to prove him wrong.

I shake my head at what he says. I then look into his eyes before I say, "She doesn't need to get freedom because she already has it. And planning my death? She can't even swat a fly."

"I don't really care what she's actually like, you WILL marry Minha and that's final." Father said leaning over his desk and glaring at me.

"But you said-" I try to argue back but he cut me off.

"I said that when you find that girl, you can marry her. This other girl that you recently found was not in the agreement. I don't care what this girl means to you, a deal is a deal Jimin!" He shouts due to irritation.
