A short two weeks has passed since the party at Jimin's dad's house. Minah has kept very quiet since she heard that Mr. Park cancelled her marriage with Jimin.
Jimin still hasn't figured out why the marriage is canceled because Mr. Park didn't tell him that he has unintentionally found me and I haven't gotten the chance to tell him. The timing just wasn't right for me.
You may be thinking that I'm a coward for not telling him and that I'm just prolonging as much time as I can but none of that is true.
As an assassin, it's always encouraged to go with what your gut is telling you and not only your head. I'm just waiting for that time when my gut finally tells me that I can tell Jimin everything.
Of course just verbally telling him isn't going to be my only option. I've written Jimin a letter, explaining everything that I've been hiding from him and placed it inside the little turquoise box under my bed.
During those two weeks, Jimin went to work as usual in the mornings, after we have breakfast together, and I stayed at home working on my dream garden that I've wanted. Luckily Jimin said that I can do whatever I want with the garden.
The girls who are in charge of taking care of the garden helped me with the makeover. We've dug up many holes in the soil and planted many colourful and beautiful flowers. We've planted roses, daylilies, camelias, tulips and many more.
We then made a stone path that sepatated into branches that go through the entire garden. We've installed a few garden arches over the paths as well as a fish pond on one side of the garden.
Let's not forget about the gazebo and swimming pool that Yoongi helped me build. Who would've thought that his hobby is building things? I thought that he just sleeps when he isn't working at the auction house but I was proven wrong.
As you can tell by all of the things that we built, Jimin's back yard is HUGE. It would've taken me a long time to do the makeover but because so many people, including bantan, helped me, we finished the garden pretty quickly.
I forbade Jimin from helping us and from seeing the garden because I wanted to surprise him when I was finished with the project.
Today we were just doing the finishing touches such as installing the lights in the garden, furnishing the gazebo and back porch and watering the plants. While everybody was doing those, I took a bunch of outdoor lights that are connected to cables and made my way to the cherry blossom tree.
I climbed up the tree with ease while carrying some lights on my shoulder and started hanging the lights from the branches. If I must say so myself, the hanging lights look awesome.
Before I knew it, the sky has already begun to get darker. I make my way back to the house but not before taking a final look at my work and nodding my head in satisfaction at what I see.
I take a final check up around the garden and then make my way inside the house to greet Jimin.
Just as I enter the house, I hear the voice of a servant greeting Jimin at the front door. I speed walk with a bounce in my step to where they are with a grin on my face.
"Welcome home." I greet Jimin when I see him. He gives his coat to the girl and smiles brightly at me while walking towards me.
"Thank you y/n. I'm glad to finally be home." He kisses me on my forehead and wraps his arm around my shoulder and makes me walk with him to who knows where.
"Hey Jimin, I want to show you something!" I exclaim in excitement and jump around like a girl who just won tickets to her favourite band's concert.
"Oh? Is it the garden that you've worked so hard on?" He asks looking at me with amusement in his eyes.
"Heehee Yes!" I giggle before grabbing his hand and dragging him to the back door.
"You have to close your eyes until I say so. And no peeking!" I add.
Jimin obeys my orders and covers his eyes with his hands.
"You aren't peeking are you?" I ask him skeptically and squinting my eyes at him.
"No y/n." He laughs
"Can you show me the garden now. I want to see it." His statement is more of an order than a question due to his curiosity.
"Okay!"
I open the door and lead him outside safely without him tripping or walking into anything. I make him stand in the centre of the back porch, facing the new garden.
"Okay, you can open your eyes now." I inform him.
Without wasting any more time, Jimin removes his hands from his face and slowly opens his eyes.
"Tada!" I shout in excitement and show him the garden in front of him.
A gasp escapes his plump lips as he looks at the beautiful, lit up garden in front of him.
"Wow..." is all he is able to say as he is left totally speechless.
While Jimin was looking at the garden with wide eyes, I was looking at him and biting by bottom lip to try and hide the large smile that's trying to creep on my face.
"This is amazing y/n. You did a really good job." He gives me is adorable eye smile.
"You can't say that yet when you haven't seen the whole garden yet." I chuckle before grabbing his hand once again and dragging him down the stone path.
I show him everything in the garden. The pond, the gazebo and pool (which are right next to each other) until only the cherrie blossom tree is left. I left that place last because it is a very special place for the both of us.
As we walk down the path and get nearer to the tree with every step, I start to get nervous and anxious.
'Will he like it?'
'What if he doesn't like it?'When we reach the end of the path, the tree is in perfect view.
Jimin remains silent as he inspects what I've done to the tree. As we sit on the bench, I get even more nervous because he isn't saying anything. I silently beg for him to say something, anything.
"It's beautiful y/n..." Jimin breathes out.
My body relaxes at his words and I let out a sigh of relief.
"... but it's not as beautiful as you." He continues, making me laugh at his cheesiness.
"That's so cheesy." I laugh.
"But it's true."
He places his fingers under my chin and turns my head to look at him. We stare deeply into each others eyes, the only sounds coming from the insects of the night and the owls in the trees.
Before I even realise what is happening, Jimin's face is already inches away from mine. I can feel his warm breath on my face causing the good kind of shivers to run down my spine. As his face slowly gets closer and closer, my eyes flutter closed and I wait for what's to come.
Soft, marshmallow like lips delicately touch mine in a gentle kiss, as if Jimin is afraid that he might break me if he's too rough.
I melt into the kiss, feeling tingles travel through my entire body and without hesitation, I kiss him back. Our lips are in perfect sync with each other. We soon pull away gasping for air. Jimin rests his forehead on mine and strokes my cheek as we sit in a comfortable silence.
"I love you y/n." Jimin suddenly whispers, making me shocked.
I quickly recover from my shocked state and and look into his eyes with adoration.
"I love you too Jimin..." I whisper back causing him to smile brightly.
"It's getting cold. We should get back to the house and eat something.
I nod my head in agreement. We get up from our seat and walk towards the house with Jimin's hand resting comfortably on my waist.
