"If I see one more, rose bouquet I'm going to lose it!" I say crumbling the blue rose in my hand as I walk out of the ballroom and to the nearest bathroom.
"Should I make it known to not let you near any of the flowers from now on?" I stop in my tracks. His voice making my blood boil. I turn on my heels to see Aron standing behind me, casually standing in the middle of the hallway with his hands in his pockets. I roll my eyes and continue walking.
"You know it is rude to not address yourself in front of an alpha." Aron states matter-of-factly.
"Haven't you heard?" Ask him, curiously he shakes his head no.
"I don't care who you are, I will not treat you like a respectable alpha." I spit out. His face not giving away any signs of anger, shock, or even his sick humor.
"Oakley, you can hate me all you want, but we both know you belong to me." He whispers into my ear. I shove him away, getting more and more irritated every second I'm with him.
"Just give me five minutes." He requests with his hands up in a surrender type of position.
"You have three minutes." I say, trying to get away from him as fast as I can. He nods knowing he won't get anything more. He motions his head towards a door, I follow him into an empty weight room. I close the door, keeping my back against the door just in case I need to leave right away.
"Okay, what was so important that you needed to talk to me?" I cross my arms over my chest, signaling to spit it out. He unbuttons his suit jacket and takes a deep breathe.
"Well I had a word with your parents." Was all he says, he looks back at me.
"My parents?" I ask him, utterly surprised. I recollect myself, trying to hold my ground.
"Yes, they told me some interesting stuff about you." He points at me, while walking around casually. My eyes never leaving him, trying to figure out what his plan is. Him being in contact with my parents means that he's probably working with them.
"So you're working with the enemy now? Aren't you supposed to be leading an entire pack?" I shoot back at him.
"Well, I wouldn't say working with the enemy, more like we have common goals." He corrects my assumption.
"That's still the same thing, you're working with the enemy." I glare at him, realizing the three minutes is up, but I chose not to leave wanting to know exactly how much Aron knows and how deep he is in this.
"However you want to look at it." He shrugs. I roll my eyes at him.
"They said you had abilities?" He takes off his suit jacket and sets it down on an empty chair. I stay quiet, choosing not to confirm nor deny anything.
"They also said that you have the power to take down whole packs." He eyes me, rolling up his sleeves until they hit his elbow. I tense up, getting ready to make a run for it.
"You know my parents, you've met them. They could have lied to you to use you to get to me." I state not showing any evidence of panic. He laughs and points to me.
"Yea, thought about that given these are the Pots that I'm dealing with. So I demanded proof, and they had some compelling evidence showing you using these said abilities of yours. All I can say is 'wow' with power like that you can be unstoppable." He smiles at his statement. Lost in his day dream, I slowly reach for the door knob getting ready to bolt.
"They also filled me in on their plan." He smirks at me. I stop, waiting for more of an explanation.
"Plan?" I ask acting dumb.
