"Wait, so I'm going to get clothes of my own?" Phil asked.

"Yeah," Dan said, "You can't just wear that same galaxy shirt and black skinny jeans forever. Though I do think it's a nice choice for you."

"Do you? Pj helped me chose it," Phil explained, "He said I looked like the galaxy and skinny jean type human. Nerdy, and thoughtful and maybe mysterious at the same time."

"I agree," Dan said, "And I relate. You do seem like someone who looks good in bright colors, it contrasts well with your appearance."

"Thank you?"

Dan smirked, "Well, you actually look like someone who'd look good in anything, and maybe nothing at all."

"Are you flirting with me, Dan?"

"Maybe," Dan admitted, and Phil smiled.

"When are we picking up Ricky?" Phil asked.

"As soon as he gets off of work and Libby takes over for the night. But that won't be for another two hours, so we're going to go shopping for a while," Dan said.

"Don't you need money to shop?" Phil asked.

"Duh," Dan said.

"You don't have much of that," Phil frowned.

"Wow, I didn't know I'd be personally attacked by you today," Dan joked, though he was perfectly aware that he was pretty poor.

"Hey," Phil said, bumping his arm, "Don't worry, I have tons of human currency."

"From where?" Dan asked.

"Heaven," Phil said, "They gave me money to buy clothes and get whatever is necessary. I need to fit in on earth, and that may require buying things. Who knows when I'll need it? So, they gave me lots of British money. I spent some on my clothes, and most on drinks the night I met you."

"Ohhhh, I wondered how you got that money," Dan said, "Damn, how much is it?"

Phil suddenly pulled a huge wad of cash out of nowhere, and then a simple black card, and shrugged while handing it to Dan, "Here's all of it. I think they said that it's about £500,000, is that a lot?"

Dan gaped at the fraction of money he had in his hand, then ran his hands along the card like it was a newborn child, "Jesus fucking Christ!"

Phil frowned, "Please don't say that."

Dan laughed, "Oops, sorry. I forgot that you're an angel. God forgive me! But why would you need all of this money if you don't even need anything to live?"

Phil shrugged again, "I don't know. Fate handed it to me, and said that I would most definitely be using it on my mission."

"Well, I don't think Fate will mind if we use some of this to have a little fun, will she?" Dan asked.

"I don't know, Fate doesn't mind much. It's probably because not much interferes with how she wants things. Humans have no way of changing her plan, so she often just chills out and watches it all happen."

"So, everything that happens is Fate?"

"Yes."
