"Hey, Ricky," Dan called as they entered Ted's Whatever, smiling at him.Ricky turned around from a shelf and smiled back, "Hey, Danny boy."
Then he noticed the outfit and raised his eyebrows, still smiling though, "Are you trying something different?" He asked.
Dan bit his lip, "Well, Phil bought it for me...but yeah, I am."
"I like it, skirts suit you," Ricky said, smiling warmly and then seeing Phil, "Phil, how are you?"
"I'm good," Phil smiled back.
"I was so psyched when you guys called to hang out today," Ricky said, "I haven't done anything all damn week and I was losing my mind."
"Well, I missed you and I thought it'd be nice if we all hung out because Phil is easily becoming one of my best friends," Dan shrugged.
"Ouch, that hurt a little," Ricky said, faking a pain in his heart.
"Do you need help?" Phil asked.
Ricky laughed, "Maybe, its been far too long since I've seen Dan."
"It's been approximately six earth days and 13 hours since we last visited," Phil said, smiling as if proud of himself.
"Oh wow, you're good with numbers," Ricky said.
"I can do any calculations," Phil said.
"Okay," Rick said with a daring grin, "If I'm 22 years old, how many days old am I?"
"8030. 8035 if you count the leap years."
Dan just stared at Phil, wide eyed, along with Ricky who seemed more than impressed.
"How did you do that?" Dan asked.
"I am built with a brain that works a lot better and faster than most humans. What I lack in social skills and current awareness, I make up for in my intellect."
"Same," Dan said, making Ricky laugh.
"No wonder you're a doctor, you're smart as hell," Ricky said.
Phil's eyebrows furrowed, "Hell lacks intelligence, for it's a place, not a physical alive being. Though the man who runs the place is quite the smart guy. Very persuasive, might I add."
"If I didn't know any better, I'd question your humanity," Ricky said, "But I know that you're a man of many literal jokes, and I can appreciate that."
Phil smiled at him, "I can see why Dan likes you so much, Ricky."
Dan's face fushed red, "He means as a friend," Dan cut in quickly, knowing there was no need for it, and cringing at how quick he was to cover up his crush. He hadn't seen Ricky in a week since he'd been so busy, and he's been losing his mind a little. But having an angel around keeps you sane.
Ricky hummed amusedly, "Yeah, keep telling yourself that. I'm hard to resist."
"Shut up," Dan said, rolling his eyes. But truthfully, he completely agreed with Ricky though he was joking.
"So, what exactly are we doing today?" Ricky asked.
"Shopping," Dan answered, "And seeing a movie too."
"Ooh, what kind of movie," Ricky asked.
"Your favorite," Dan smiled, "Horror."
"Rad!" Ricky said, "I fucking love scary movies. And popcorn."
"I like popcorn too!" Phil beamed.
"Awesome," Ricky said, "Are you a fan of horror movies?"
"I don't know," Phil frowned, "I've never seen one."
