"So, did you like him?" Phil asked, as they walked out of Hendersons, "It looked like you liked him. And you got his phone number."

Dan smiled, "I mean he's cute and nice and all, but I don't know."

Phil frowned, "But he really liked you. His heart was a lot different than everybody else's."

"Oh?" Dan asked.

"He knows you, you know," Phil said.

"Of course he knows me, we just met!" Dan said.

"No, I mean he's had a crush on you since you guys were kids. He used to think that you were so cool. He'd see you at the church everyday and he just sort of fell in love from far away."

"Wait a minute," Dan said, "He already loves me?"

Phil shrugged, "Sort of. It's not like he can really be that in love, with you guys never talking and all, but he adores you."

"How do you know all of this?" Dan asks.

Phil smiles, "I used to go through prayers, and now I find love. What do you mean, 'how do I know?" I'm an expert. Also, I got a mental message from Heaven about you."

"A mental message?"

"Yeah, all angels are connected telepathically. Anyway, an attractive plus one has been added to your love file. That means someone recently thought something was very admirable about you today. Yay."

Dan laughs, "Oh, yeah? What is it?"

"That you're musically inclined. They like your music taste and the fact that you can play the piano. I wonder where that add on came from," Phil said.

Dan raised his eyebrows, "Are you being sarcastic?"

"I don't know, maybe," Phil said.

Dan laughed, "You're a weird little angel, but I like it. I like you."

Phil smiled, "I know."

Dan sighed, looking up at the sky, "Phil, can I ask you a question?"

"Of course."

Dan looked at the pavement as they walked, feeling peaceful, "Why is that I've known you for a day, yet I feel like you're one of my best friends?"

Phil shrugged, "Maybe it's because I'm an angel, and angels are supposed to make humans feel more comfortable. That would be my best guess, because it's not like I have much of a personality."

Dan scoffed, "Yeah, right. You're absolutely adorable."

Phil smiled, "Thank you. You don't get many compliments when everyone is the same up in Heaven, you sort of just blend in."

"Well, if it means anything to you, you're my favorite angel, Phil," Dan said with a grin.

And Phil grinned back.

"So, I'm going to head to bed now. You can just do whatever," Dan said, slipping out his shirt and throwing it somewhere in the apartment.

"Okay, I will be here," Phil said, sitting on the couch.

The more Dan thought about it, the weirder it felt. It was just sort of abnormal to leave your guest to stare at nothing on the couch for hours until you woke up. Maybe he should spend the night with him.

Dan bit his lip, "Do you wanna watch TV or something? I feel kinda weird just leaving you to sit here. Even though I know it doesn't bother you."

Phil's face contorted to confusion, "How exactly do you watch TV?'"
