the two lovers stared at each other for a few minutes. mingyu couldn't believe that wonwoo was finally back to his side.
"so ... how have you been these past five years?" asked wonwoo.
"well, i don't know ? i was missing someone too much for being fully happy ?" answered mingyu with a smirk. "what about you ? where have you been ?"
"we were at changwon before moving back to seoul once again."
mingyu nodded and turned on the tv. both of them were sitting on the couch, at mingyu's house. it would be a lie if they said that they didn't felt awkward. after all, with all the dramas and cheesy things they went trough before getting back together, they weren't that comfortable together yet.
wonwoo, feeling the awkwardness, finished by asking mingyu if he wanted to go out. as mingyu agreed the couple headed out : they were on their way to myeongdong road.
as they were walking on the street, a shop caught mingyu's attention. it was a shop that propose you to write postcards that will be send years later.
"shall we write one wonwoo ? i think that it's a good opportunity... so we won't you know ? lose each other again .. i mean if you don't change your address and all haha." said mingyu.
"yes of course, i think that it's a good idea too !"
both of them, then split up to write their letters. wonwoo finished first and went to the cashier to post it first. then he waited for mingyu for a few minutes. when both of them finished, they head out again.
"so .. what should we do now ?" asked mingyu.
"shall we do the date we should have done five years ago ?" answered wonwoo with a smile.
"promise me that this time you won't go anywhere ?" said mingyu, pouting.
"don't worry, i won't leave you alone ever again. i will be by your side."
they locked their hands together and went to their usual coffee shop.
"we came here so much time, it almost feels like home." said wonwoo, laughing.
the boys sat down and ordered two coffees.
"oh mingyu ! how are you ? who is this handsome man ?" asked a familiar face. it was dokyum, a worker there.
"i'm fine ! oh him ? it's you know .. the boy i have talk to you about so many times..." the latter answered.
"oh, is it the famous jeon wonwoo ? nice to meet you. you are lucky to have a guy like mingyu as a boyfriend you know ? he loves you so so much." he said with a big smile, making mingyu blush slightly.
"yes i know. i don't even know what i did to deserve him." said wonwoo, looking into mingyu's eyes, with love.
"haha, well, i will leave you guys alone ! have a nice day." dokyum said.
when he leaved, wonwoo looked at mingyu in the eyes once again, and smiled.
"really ... what did i do to deserve you ? thank you kim mingyu. thank you so much. for everything."
"why are you thanking me ? i should be the one who is thankful. did you forgot that you are the one who healed me ?" answered mingyu.
"i'm glad i did." said wonwoo as he held mingyu's hand.
the two lovers looked at each other with a smile. their eyes were full of love for each other. after all the struggles they have been through, they could finally be happy together. because a few years later, they did fall in love once again.
