Chapter 8

Katherine's P.O.V.

I woke up surrounded by white walls. Where was I? My leg hurt and my head was throbbing. Then it hit me; I was in a hospital.

Damn, these beds were uncomfortable.

"Doctor? Nurse?" I yelled sitting up as a lady in all white came in. "Hi sweetie! I'm glad to see your up, I'll go get your parents." Awe, well she was nice. I waited patiently as I saw my mom come in. "Mom!" I squeled as she walked over and gave me a hug. We hugged for a long time. She sat on the edge of my bed and ran her fingers through my hair ,"Katherine, I'm so glad you're okay." A tear escaped from her eye as she continued talking. "I don't know what I'd do without you, I love you so much and your the best daughter I could've ever asked for. I'm just so happy my little girl is safe." She said. "I love you too mom, you're the best mom ever." I said and then smiled, I noticed my eyes started to water.

"I'll tell Hayes he can come in now if thats alright with you." She said. "Thats fine, did he stay all night?" I asked curiously. "Yeah. Him, Nash, and Elizabeth all did."

Awe well that was sweet of them!

"Awh! Okay well send them in!" I said with a huge smile on my face. (:

Ms. Elizabeth walked into my room and then sat on my bed. "I thought I'd come in here before the boys came in. Katherine I love you like you're my own and I'm glad that you're okay." She said and then took my hand and gave it a squeeze, "I hope Hayes treats you right and if you ever need anything I'm here for you hun." With that being said she got up and left.

Nash came in next. What are they taking turns?

"Hey sistaaaa!" Nash said happily, "How are you feelin'?" "I've been better. Nash why does my leg hurt so much?" I complained. "Because your leg is broken, but don't worry I'll carry you if you need me or Hayes can." He said then winked.

"Speaking of Hayes maybe I should go and get your lover boy." He winked then got up and left. That was the one thing I loved about Nash, he could always cheer me up now matter how crappy I felt. Now onto Hayes. Ugh, I had no clue what I wanted to tell him. I must've left him in the worst state even possible on the planet.

There he is walking towards my bed. He sat down and we just kinda sat there. His face with red and his eyes were bloodshot. Even in this state he was still so amazing looking. Perfect, even Flawless.

"MAKIN' MY WAY DOWNTOWN WALKING FAST,

FACES PASS AND I'M HOMEBOUND."

I yelled and me and him burst out laughing.

Hayes grabbed my hand and squeezed it. "I never told you this before, but I love you too." He said and then lightly kissed my cheek.

Maybe it was the way his eyes shined in the light. Maybe it was the way he said my name. Maybe it was how he said he loved me back. Or maybe it was how I felt glowing and alive in his presence. Either way there was nothng that I loved more than him.

Hayes P.O.V

"Hayes, wake up." I heard someone say. "I'm up.." I say drifting off back to sleep. "Katherine's up." I hear them mumble. My head shot up and I look straight at Nash. "Can I see her?" I asked a bit to quickly. "Go ahead me and mom already went in." Nash said then smiled and gestured me to go.

What was I gonna say to her? My hands were trembling as I walked into the room nervously and sat on her bed. I probably looked like absolute crap.

Me and Katherine just kinda sat there awkwardly until she burst out singing. Oh God, I missed her. Me and her probably looked like complete idiots, and thats when I knew I loved her back. In whatever way, shape, or form she was gorgeous. I took her hand and squeezed it, "I never told you this before, but I love you too." I said then kissed her on the cheek. I looked down to see her mouth curve into a smile. Then I walked out. Oh God, please let her be safe.
