A/N I'm going to apologize in advance, this one is not my best. Don't stop reading if you don't like it, the next one is better, I swear.

Sophie's POV

We were all at Everglen and had departed for bed. When we got to Biana's room she exclaims, "Lets play 20 questions!" I wasn't really siked for this, especially since Biana liked to ask terribly annoying questions. She wanted to get me to admit I like Fitz, without being too obvious. She wasn't exactly subtle, and she was going to be let down when she finds out I had gotten over my silly crush on Fitz.

"Fine," I reply, trying to keep the reluctance out of my voice, "Who goes first?"

"I will!" Biana squeals, nearly shattering my eardrums. This was worse than I feared. She had to have some evil question - or plan. But, the problem with elves is that they played twenty questions in an odd way. Although, I believed they did. I never had any friends growing up with humans, so I never got to experience things normal teens would.

They had one person ask twenty questions straight, and then vice versa. It gave the person who asked the chance to spring on the other person without the chance of a subject-change.

"Okay," Biana starts, ready to pounce on her prey. Which just so happened to be me. It may sound a little melodramatic, but playing this "game" with Biana was almost as scary as teleporting for the first time.

"Question one: Who do you like more, Fitz or Keefe?"

So much for being "subtle". I braced myself for her reaction, and answered with the truth, "I... I like Keefe." I blushed, looking down into my lap, then looked up at Biana.  She didn't look nearly as shocked or angry as I had anticipated, she almost looked like she'd expected it.

I raised an eyebrow at her, and she mumbled, "Dex." I wasn't super shocked, because I had seen how often she's been blushing around him. She blushed like me.

Biana studies me for a moment, as if she was thinking of her next question. I, being the smart elf I am, knew she had already prepared all of her questions. "Question two: Are you in love with him?"

     "I-I don't know."

She looked at me with a very familiar stare. It was the kind of stare that said, "Please, you know, stop lying to yourself." Which were, of course, the worst kind. You knew you were  getting yourself in too deep.

I disliked the situation she was putting me in, but after facing the Neverseen countless times, almost getting myself killed, and going through Exillium, a show of cowardice would be too low right  about now. "Yeah, sure, I love him, can we continue now?"

"Okay. Okay," Biana complied, rolling her beautifully teal eyes (what? maybe I didn't like Fitz anymore, but the Vacker's would always have the most stunning eyes), "Question three: When are you going to tell him?" That shook me a little. I wasn't ever planning on telling him. I didn't want to get rejected. Especially not by Keefe, who always blew everything way out of proportion.

     "Probably never." I answer.

"Wrong," says Biana. Her I-know-everything-listen-to-me attitude was getting just a tad bit annoying. I was ready to tell her to shut up, but I am a nice friend, so I decided I'd play her game a little longer.

      "Wrong?" I ask.

"Yes. You're telling him tonight, like, right now. You're going to march right to him and confess your feelings." I stared at Biana, I had no doubt my jaw was hanging.

As I said before, there was no way I would be a coward now. I walked towards the door, looked back at Biana and said a quick, "I hate you," then did exactly as Biana said. I marched right down that hall like I had nothing to lose.

****this is when the boys entered Fitz's room****

Fitz's POV

"Lets play 20 questions." I say.

"Alright...." Says Keefe, who is obviously suspicious. I've never suggested this game before. It was always him.

"You know, since you were going to suggest it eventually," I quickly added, trying to ease his suspicion.

Keefe adjusted himself to sit cross-legged on my carpet, the exact way I'd seen him sit on Sophie's carpet, so many times.  It was getting slightly annoying how close he and Sophie were getting, and even more annoying how Sophie and I were drifting apart.

"I'll start," I say, not quite sure why I volunteered as first. I'm not even quite sure why I had suggested it in the first place. I guess I wanted answers.

Keefe was, once again, surprised. "Fine," he said, "Throw what you got at me." He opened his arms wide, as if he were trying to make himself look bigger, tougher, and more daring.

"I will." I scoffed, I looked around the room, looking for something to inspire a question.

"Are you in love with Sophie?" I wasn't expecting that question to come out of my mouth, but I knew it was what I wanted know. I needed answers.

"Of course I'm in love with Foster," he replies, an almost maniacal laugh escaping his lips. "Was that why you called this game into order? You could've just asked me."

I was not as taken aback as I thought I would be. As I should be. I was just jealous. I had competition. Good looking competition with fabulous hair. "I know, man. I would've. I just- are you going to tell her?"

Keefe nodded his head, and replied with, "Soon."

All the sudden we hear a knock on the door accompanied with Sophie's voice. "Keefe?" she asked, "Can I talk to you?"

I looked at Keefe, patted him on the back and said, "Maybe a little sooner than you thought." As I watched him walk through the door, I tried not to feel too jealous. I hoped this didn't change our friendship, but I knew it would.
