A Wonderful Gift From A Beautiful Boy [Part 2]

Happy holidays guys! I've been enjoying break.... despite the fact that I'm super bored most of the time. Have you? Here's Part 2 of "A Wonderful Gift From a Beautiful Boy", as promised. (This time in Sophie's POV) It's kind of short, but I did my best.

Sophie didn't realize she wanted this to happen until it did. "Oh my God!" she screamed, throwing herself at Keefe.

Keefe grinned like he wasn't suspecting this reaction, and it had turned out much better than he had planned (Sophie didn't know why, he was an empath). "You like it?"

It wasn't so much the gift itself that Sophie liked, it was the note attached to it. Sure, Sophie loved Mrs. Stinkbottom, and was very surprised Keefe would just give her away.

"Thanks for Mrs. Stinkbottom, Keefe," Sophie said with a smile. Keefe looked at Sophie with a raised eyebrow.

"I want her back. Unless you want to.... exchange her for something." Keefe did that wiggly dance he did years ago, and Sophie couldn't help but smile.

"It's okay." Sophie stared at the note in her hands and read it over again, not believing what it said. Keefe was quite obviously nervous and he definitely wanted a reaction.

Sophie read over the note again;

Foster, it's no secret that I can't live without you, and I didn't know if I could bring myself to say this in person.

I'm hopelessly in love with you.

Sophie looked up at Keefe and said, "I love you too, Keefe." With that, Sophie did the very thing she thought she wouldn't do in a long time. She kissed him.

It didn't feel like when she kissed Dex. Kissing Keefe felt... right.

Sophie wasn't sure how long the kiss lasted, but she and Keefe quickly pulled apart after she heard Grady's voice from a few yards away.

"Keefe! You are so dead!"
