Eavesdropping

(A/N sorry for the title debacle thing.)

Sophie 's POV

I was having a really tough day when I went to see Dex. I was trying to find his "office" at Slurps and Burps when I hear noises from a room.

I had found his office but the door was closed and I could hear two voices. One female with a very distinct accent which could belong to no other  than the Vacker family, meaning it had to be Biana. And I also heard a male voice which would have to be Dex. 

I put my ear against the door to listen because they'd never really ever met alone, especially here, and I wanted to know what was up with my best friends.

Dex's POV

I hear something shuffle outside my door, and I assume it's just my dad finding something. I look at Biana who said she wanted to talk to me. She looked distressed with the news she had.

"Dex, I" she begins. Tears start running down he  face and she says, "I know you like Sophie but-but I really like you and-and I just w-wanted to let you know." 

Oh. I look at Biana with tears running down her face and I notice how beautiful she really is. Her dark hair that always  manages to lay just right and her ability to just look beautiful at any given point. I also realize how brave and strong she really is. After everything she's been through it's hard to believe that she can still be the positive, sweet Biana we all know.

I wrap Biana up in a hug hoping it will last forever. But it can't, and I have something I need to say. 

"Biana, I don't like Sophie. I use  to, but she's my cousin and best friend. For the longest time I think I've liked you, but I haven't wanted to admit it  to myself, in fear of getting let down and hurt." 

Her eyes seem to light up and save starts to smile. "Thanks Dex." She says. "For what?" I ask. 

"Thank you for everything, for always being there  for me and being such a great friend." 

"No, thank you." I say. 

All the sudden we hear a squeal and Sophie barges in. "I know it was  rude of me to eavesdrop but that was adorable! My best friend, well friends, but my best friend and my cousin!" 

I can't see my own face but I can see Biana's face. She was extremely red and I knew I must look the same. 

...Darn Sophie.

A/N I hope you liked it! I know, I know, for all of you who want to nit-pick an  find something bad about my story, Sophie would never  act like that. But hey! It fit! Also... I'm writing another  story called Boy In The Hat. I hope you'll check it out, it's a true story about me, it takes place on March 3rd 2017 at MGM at a Panic! At The Disco concert.
