A/N Okay, this one is much better than the other ones, and it's not as cheesy.

Keefe's POV

I was staring at the projection Foster gave to me. Okay, maybe it was given to me reluctantly, but it was still technically given to me. I had gotten it the other day, when I had saw it in her memory log. I thought it was sweet, and asked for it. She got really embarrassed, which was cute, but after some persuading, she handed it over.

It was a picture of Foster and I on the back of Glitterbutt. The projection was perfect, of course, as Foster was incredibly talented, and had a photographic memory.

Foster is also gorgeous. The way her hair falls, the way her beautiful brown eyes had golden flecks in them. And... No, I thought, stop it.

Fitz and I had made a pact. Fitz liked Foster, I liked Foster. We didn't want to let a girl ruin our friendship, but it was hard. We'd get jealous over the simplest things. Fitz would get jealous when I made Foster blush, and I would get jealous when she made comments about how attractive Fitz was. She just didn't get it. She was so oblivious.

I'm almost positive Foster doesn't like Fitz the way she likes me. Her liking Fitz came from her head, not her heart. She likes me with her heart. Although, I can never be sure with her, because she's a roller coaster of emotions.

Just then, my impartar beeps. "Hey Keefe!" Foster exclaims. I love the way her eyes light up when she talks to me, like she's glad she had the opportunity to have random chats with the wonderful Keefester.

"Yes, Foster? What can I do for you?" I asked, slightly interested. If she wanted meetings, she always just asked at school. I was the one who asked her for special chats from the house. Or, during our - as Bangs Boy would call them - nightly flirt sessions, which has now become a regular thing when she was stressed.

"Um," Foster starts,  blushing as I stare at her with hopeful, puppy dog eyes. Real smooth, Keefe, real smooth.

To make it less awkward, I decided to add, "Awwww, I made Foster blush!" Which only succeeded to make her blush more. I pumped my fists in the air with triumph.

"Grady and Edaline need to talk with you." With this bit of Earth-shattering news, my face fell. Oh no. Oh no. No no no no. They must've found out my crush on Sophie. This is NOT good.

Trying to conceal my fear, I put on a weak smile and try to manage a strong totally-not-scared voice. "I'll be there in five. And, oh, afterwards, we can do some mysterious Foster-Keefe planning."

She looked genuinely happy with that. "Okay, I'll see you later Keefe." And with that, she clicked away.

I told my dad where I was going, telling him not to wait up for me if I was killed. He simply waved his hand, motioning for me to go away. I made my way to the vortinator, where I was sped upward to the Leapmaster. I willed my palms not to sweat as I commanded, "Havenfield!" The crystals turned, and I was whisked away by the light.

I see Edaline and nervously wave, hoping Grady had some special, urgent, we-need-you-right-now kind of mission. No such luck. She finishes with Verdi and ushers me inside to where Grady is waiting. "Hey Mr. And Mrs. Ruewen," I manage to choke out in a squeak.

"Hello, Keefe," Edaline said with a smile, as Grady glared. I was definitely scared now. There was a bead of sweat running down the side of my face, and I was painfully twisting my fingers together. Edaline looked at Grady, and they both collapsed in a fit of laughter.

     "Wha-?" I ask, extremely confused.

"You were so scared!" Grady exclaims through his laughter. "But now," he says, immediately getting serious, "we need to address my daughter. It is no secret you like her, and that she likes you back. Well.... of course she doesn't know it, but that's not the point." He says.

Sandor, who I had barely noticed was positioned at the stairs, muttered something about Sophie being more clueless than the council.

I thought I was nervous before but, this was crazy nerve-wracking. This is hard.

"I have one rule that Edaline and I have agreed on. If I didn't have her opinion on this matter, there would no doubt be more than a thousand," He says. Oh no. Even if I hate to admit it, I was crossing my fingers. Hard. "You may not hurt my daughter. Ever. Again."

That was it? I never dreamed of hurting Sophie in the first place, and I sure would never, ever do it again. "Deal," I said, "I would never hurt Sophie."

To Edaline, that seemed good enough, and she motioned towards the stairs and says, "Go, she's waiting for you, Keefe."

I mouth thank you to Edaline as I race up the stairs to Foster's room. "How's the Mysterious Miss F. doing?" I ask flashing my trademark smirk.

"I'm doing fine, But even better after.... THIS!" And with that, she launches across the room and tackles me, messing up my beautiful hair.

"The hair! The hair!" I scream hysterically. I mean, I love Foster, I really do, but... "It is so on!" I exclaim. I roll over and tackle her, and she just lays there laughing. I start laughing too because, what can I say, I'm hilarious.

And then I did something I thought I'd never had the chance to do. I knew it would breaking my pact with Fitz, but I couldn't hold it in any longer. "I love you, Sophie."

She gasped, and whispered, "I love you too Keefe."

It was my turn to gasp, and with our declaration of love, I yelled, "TICKLE FIGHT!"

A/N    Thanks for reading! You know, probably one of the best, least cheesy ones I've written! Upvotes are (and always will be) appreciated. Do me a favor and recommend my book to some other Foster-Keefe shippers, would you? Love you, thank you, byyyeee!
